Zefir's Return Diary [Batman-Centric]

Zephyr always thought of himself as an unambitious, laid-back sort of person. Even though he grew up in an orphanage, all he did was go to school like any normal kid, instead of figuring out how to make money... Maybe it was because he'd always been told, "At your age, you should just focus on your studies" :).

But only a few days after starting university, he was suddenly transmigrated to another world, where evil cultivators dragged him away along with a crowd of ordinary people to use as experimental fodder.

It was agonizing. He wanted to die, but stubbornly clung to life, hoping to find a chance to get revenge on those people ().

Later, when the stronghold was wiped out, Zephyr picked out his future master from among a group of cultivators with unerring precision: a remarkable being who was the strongest among the good-hearted and the kindest among the powerful.

But good people never live long, so from then on, Zephyr's goal in life was to become stronger, so he could protect his master and save him when it mattered most.

After spending five hundred and seventy-three years in this world, Zephyr returned to the world where his soul was born, carrying two swords formed from Yin and Yang energy as mementos.

He'd thought life would go back to normal: continue his studies, master the power of the two swords, then return to the cultivation world to find his master. But Zephyr met the last blood relative he had left in the world, the little brother born to the family with so much joy and anticipation: Bruce.

So he'd really been lost because he'd accidentally transmigrated to another world. The manor from his hazy childhood memories, the elegant and meticulous butler, his gentle and loving parents... and the little brother he'd waited so long to meet, who had only just been born, were all real. They weren't things he'd made up.

Zephyr immediately decided to stay by his perfect little brother's side and return to the cultivation world only after his cat had lived out its natural lifespan. Then he searched the internet: #Bruce Wayne the Playboy#

Zephyr: ?

Was there something bothering his cat that made him want to act like a playboy?

Then he searched: #A History of Bruce Wayne's Romances with Superheroes#

Zephyr: ...?

Was his original world really this crowded with all sorts of things? Aliens, demigods, people with superpowers... strange species native to Earth, and colorful power rings...

Most importantly, was there no one Brucey liked in particular? What kind of superhero did Brucey actually like?

One more search: #Fifteen Years of Marriage for the Bat and the Bat#

Zephyr thought he'd found the answer, but wasn't that a little too much? Brucey was only thirty-five this year! Had he been hanging around with Batman ever since he came of age?

Zephyr thought it was all fake gossip, but when Batman came up at a family dinner, he couldn't ignore the strange looks everyone exchanged.

So Brucey's true love really was Batman, and all the others were just substitutes? (heavy sigh)

So Zephyr drew his newly commissioned long sword, solemnly sharpened its edge, and decided to go out that night and catch Batman to give him to his beloved Brucey as a present.

Warnings and notes:

1. No pairing, no main plot. A lighthearted collection of everyday memories, written wherever the mood takes me. Original protagonist. The only thing I can guarantee is that Bruce, aka Batman, will get plenty of screen time.

2. The protagonist's major life changes, worldview, and abilities all come from the cultivation world, so it will definitely take up a portion of the story. If you don't like that, feel free to leave quietly. Please don't draw attention to yourself; it really affects the author's ability to write. Thanks.

3. OOC warning. Mountains of headcanon, chaotic timeline, and some characters who don't exist. Don't ask. This is my own world, and I'm going to lose myself in my own bizarre art. I'm still a long way from being a god, but I've already grown far from being human.

4. In short, this story is full of personal indulgences, centered on the idea that Batman is right, the best, and perfect. It's about lighthearted everyday life with family and friends. I'll drop it whenever I can't write anymore, so please don't condemn or lecture the author, the work, or the characters. Thanks.
