[Western Crossover] This Earth Is Under My Protection

Hawthorne Dylan transmigrated as an Outer God. Known as the pen that sculpts civilizations, the eye that observes the universe, and the watcher who sees countless paths of fate, he wanted to avoid trouble. His daily routine was to lie flat and sleep. However, Hawthorne had only just transmigrated and wasn’t yet good at his job. Half-asleep, he unconsciously led several humans into his dreams, where they glimpsed forbidden knowledge and awakened the Great Old Ones sealed beneath Earth. The planet was on the verge of blowing up. Hawthorne: ...What a mess. With no other choice, he put on a secret identity and descended to Earth, hoping to guide humanity through this disaster. “Great Old Ones, behave yourselves. I’m protecting Earth!” Only to get arrested on his very first day for “acting crazy, defacing property, and spreading wild rumors.” The Outer God Hawthorne, forced into handcuffs: ...? As he worked to save Earth, he gradually discovered that quite a few humans had wills strong enough to withstand his gaze. They were perfect vessels for an Outer God’s will to descend into, making them ideal for painless sacrifice! And so “Ladies and gentlemen, may I have a moment of your time? I’d like to tell you about our Heavenly Father and Savior, Hawthorne Dylan. Oh, sorry, Mr. Reporter, not you. You’re far too susceptible to corruption. If you don’t want to go mad and end up in Arkham, please keep your distance. Thank you.” A certain alien with no resistance to magic: ... From then on, a strange new church appeared on Earth. Its true power lay in the hands of an extremely mysterious organization whose members were all remarkably gifted. The messenger of vengeance brings hope to those struggling through hardship; The silent warrior wields the Milky Way as a blade, purging all evil and filth; The pontiff sits high above in the temple, watching over the mortal world; The singer praises the light with a pure, flawless voice, singing until death; And the Eye of the Secret Stars hangs beyond the heavens, gazing without joy or sorrow upon all living things. It is the newborn and the ancient; it will knock upon the gates of paradise, light the world’s beacon, and guide civilization. It is fate, it is law, it is the fleeting moment and eternity. Reader’s guide: 1. The male protagonist is a genuine Outer God with a kind heart. He is not cold or sinister at all, though his true form is thoroughly Lovecraftian and hardcore. The various Outer God, Elder God, and Great Old One settings have been heavily altered and are only window dressing. This is not a canonical Cthulhu Mythos fanfic, so please don’t take it too seriously. Lore enthusiasts, please go easy on me. You don’t need to know the Cthulhu Mythos to enjoy the story. 2. His true form is so powerful that ordinary humans die from one look. For the safety of humanity, the protagonist can only act through secret identities, and he has many of them. His real identity will never be exposed. 3. Showing off is in my blood. Proceed at your own risk. The Lovecraftian elements are hardcore and niche, so readers who are easily unsettled should take care. 4. The story is extremely unfriendly to villains! Readers who like villains, especially Zhou Ke'er, should proceed with caution! Theme: Unity is strength.
