[Western Crossover] Hero Persona, Villain Script

Aesop thinks he has it rough. One of his fathers wants him to inherit his legacy and become an outstanding Gotham criminal. His other father wants him to inherit his identity and become a vigilante. Choosing either side means becoming enemies with the other. Today, a boy named Aesop Wayne lost sight of his dream. In that case, should he follow Jason's example and become enemies with both sides? Aesop blinked, glanced at Jason's number on his phone, and decisively called him. "Hey, Jason, is the Outlaws team recruiting?" If he wanted to change Gotham from the ground up, he had to become its mayor. So the Outlaws would take revenge on anyone running against him. Great! Just what you'd expect from him! The perfect heir, combining Batman's cool-headed violence with the Joker's clever madness! Pairing: Jason Todd. The protagonist is an artificial human created from the Joker's and Batman's genes. He is not their biological child!!! I have to eat, you know, so this story will be paywalled on November 17. Three chapters will be posted that day. Let's go!!! This story is published exclusively on Jinjiang. Any copies on other platforms are pirated. Contains some graphic and emotionally harrowing scenes. If you're faint of heart, please don't read. If it's not for you, run, don't read it. This story was completed on April 21. Check out my new story. Completed story: [Western Crossover] An Ordinary Profession Creates a Plot Bug New story coming soon: Superhero by Day, Supervillain by Night After a former mercenary dies, he gets bound to a torturous System that demands he become both a superhero and a supervillain. "You must be a superhero who fights evil and stands up for justice, and also a notorious, sophisticated supervillain," the System said with theatrical emphasis. "Are you trying to give me split personality disorder or what?" When it came to scheduling, the System decided the mercenary would be a hero by day and a criminal by night. "You should've switched careers and become a capitalist. Seriously." The mercenary complained about the System while diligently doing his job. And so the former mercenary spent his days as a knight of justice, saving the world from aliens and Hydra in New York, and his nights as the Joker, head of Batman's fan club, wreaking havoc in Gotham and giving Batman a headache. One day, his secret identity was exposed. Breaking news! Gotham's Prince of Crime moonlights as a New York superhero! Shocking! New York's superhero transforms into Gotham's Prince of Crime at night! Then S.H.I.E.L.D. and Batman got into a dispute over who had the right to claim the former mercenary, now a villain and part-time hero. "He's a New York superhero. Even if he commits crimes, he should be detained at Avengers Tower and kept in our custody." Tony, representing S.H.I.E.L.D. in its mission to snatch him up. "He was Gotham's Joker before he became a superhero. He should be detained in Arkham Asylum and kept in my custody." Batman, representing Gotham's entire Joker fan club. The two sides argued endlessly, then both turned to the mercenary, who was watching while eating popcorn. Mercenary: What the hell are you looking at? I'll punch you. Heh. And then... Batman simply grabbed him and ran off back to Gotham. A tired old trope about saving each other. Pairing: Batman. Happy ending. Theme: Stay positive and find a way out, even in the darkness
