[Western Crossover] The Superheroes Are Utterly Defeated

Hysinthus gave everything to Overwatch, only to be cast aside in the end. Heartbroken, Hysinthus settled in Gotham. He learned to live like an ordinary person and stopped paying attention to or getting involved in anything to do with superheroes. Until he found a badly wounded Batman on his doorstep. Hysinthus couldn't leave a hero to die right in front of him, so he lent a hand and took out the villain who had been tracking Batman while he was at it. After that, more and more superheroes started turning up near his home. Hysinthus didn't know there was a highly upvoted post on the superheroes' internal forum: "Lure your enemies to [such-and-such area] in Gotham while badly wounded. A retired superhero will spawn to patch you up, clean up the mess, and kick the villain's ass. Tested and confirmed!" Hot One day, Hysinthus found a familiar face on his doorstep. White hair, blue eyes, tactical visor. AKA Soldier: 76, former commander of Overwatch. ...His ex-boyfriend. Not long after, Hysinthus found another familiar face: a black trench coat and a white skull mask. AKA Reaper, former commander of Blackwatch. His best friend, and his ex-boyfriend's sworn enemy. Soldier: I'm going to kill him. Hysinthus: Denied. For one reason or another, Reaper and Soldier ended up staying at Hysinthus's place. Reaper and the old soldier got into a minor fight every three days and a major one every five. Hysinthus would try to break them up verbally while grabbing a rolling pin and joining the fray. One day, Winston came to invite the three veterans back to the relaunched Overwatch. Soldier: There's no need to relaunch Overwatch. This world doesn't need heroes. Reaper: Overwatch? Hah. I'll make sure it gets destroyed again. Hysinthus whacked them both unconscious with his rolling pin, then smiled at Winston.
