Amano Ren died, and when he opened his eyes, he found himself transmigrated into Dazai, who was in the middle of drowning himself. After a struggle, he finally made it to shore. Just as Amano Ren was catching his breath, a voice suddenly rang out in his head.

“Wow, this is so interesting. The body’s moving on its own!”

Amano Ren: eyes wide with shock

Transmigrating was one thing, and ending up as Dazai was another, but why was Dazai still inside his body?!

One day, after taking a plunge, the moody Black Organization executive underwent a sudden transformation. Not only did he stop skipping work and start diligently completing his missions, he also cared about his subordinates and was gentle and considerate. He could handle himself in high society and in the kitchen, leaving everyone too stunned to speak.

Amano Ren: Good morning, Mr. Mori, Chuuya~

The boss: ...Dazai-kun, if you’re trying to gross me out so I’ll give you time off, there’s really no need.

Chuuya: You’re not Mackerel! Who are you?!

Just as everyone was about to unmask this impostor, Dazai, who had been loafing around and sleeping inside the body, came back online.

In an instant, the warmth and sunshine vanished. The darkness in his eyes grew deeper, and his aura settled into something more composed. He smiled as if he were enjoying the show.

“My, seeing Mr. Mori and the little slug look so shocked was totally worth it.”

After that, his colleagues often saw the executive suddenly change faces. One second he was an angel, the next a devil, sending their emotions on a daily roller coaster and leaving them physically and mentally exhausted.

Something’s wrong with this Dazai, isn’t it?! Did he get a split personality just from taking a dip?!

Amano Ren: I want out of this body too!

[Please note]

[It’s Amano Ren, Amano Ren, Amano Ren. He has nothing to do with Amamiya Ren. Don’t bring that up again. I’ll get angry if you do!!]

*Single Bungou series, no crossover, short slice-of-life story, Dazai pairing, no fixed top or bottom, use your imagination.

*OOC, OOC, OOC. The character filters are extremely, extremely, extremely strong, and I’m letting loose. Dazai is 17 at the start.

*The protagonist will have his own body. The protagonist is not any kind of Dazai, and this is not self-shipping with himself.

*Maybe it’s about two silly lovers falling in love. It won’t be all fluff, but it shouldn’t be too tragic either.

*The protagonist’s acting is a little bad, and he’s pretty laid-back. Anyone familiar with Dazai will notice the protagonist isn’t Dazai; it’s only a matter of how long it takes them to figure it out. If that’s not your thing, please don’t read.

*My writing and intelligence are limited. If the characters seem stupid, it’s definitely because the author is too dumb. If you’re uncomfortable reading, please leave sooner rather than later. That way, everyone can be happy.

*I’ll add more if I think of anything...

Coming soon: When My Secret Identities Get a Coughing-Blood Debuff. It’s a BL crossover, but the protagonist has no pairing~

Amamiya Ruiseng was born frail and sickly, and often coughed up blood. He struggled to make it to eighteen, but just as he was about to die, a broken Secret Identity System came to him. It said he could use secret identities to experience what it was like to have a healthy body, and that completing missions and gathering energy could extend his life.

He figured he was going to die anyway, so he might as well give it a try. But the System really was broken. His secret identities came with all kinds of flaws, and even inherited the coughing-blood debuff from his real body.

-A private tutor hired by the family treated the child in front of him for his injuries, wrapped them in bandages, and told him to cherish his life. As he spoke, he coughed up enough blood to cover the floor.

The bandaged child: You don’t cherish your own life.

Amamiya Ruiseng: I was born this way. Don’t worry, I won’t die.

-A newly enrolled student at the technical college fought a cursed spirit tooth and nail. After exorcising it, he was about to greet the Six Eyes classmate who had just arrived when he opened his mouth and coughed up blood all over the floor.

His classmate stared in shock: Are you hurt?

Amamiya Ruiseng: I’m not hurt. That was a great fight. I won’t die.

-The strongest peacemaker in the Vongola spends every day either stopping the Guardians from fighting or rushing to stop them from fighting. His method is to step between them and open his mouth to cough up blood.

The strongest Guardian: I’m done fighting. Weak little animal, go get treated.

Amamiya Ruiseng: Thanks for your concern, but I really won’t die.

His friends worried every day that he was about to die, so Amamiya Ruiseng had no choice but to keep insisting that he wouldn’t. But before he could gather enough energy, his real body gave out. Regretfully, he ended his missions, made arrangements for each of his secret identities, and returned to his real body to await death.

Then his friends suddenly realized that the person who had always smiled and told them, “I won’t die,” had truly left them.

“Please keep living.”

They sincerely wished it for him.
