Although the world gets more and more absurd each day, Tenai Seshū, the chosen one (and culprit), still keeps a firm grip on the reins of the world's story, ensuring the plot follows its destined course.

After experiencing a perfect life, Tenai Seshū is just about to return to his main body and fix the malfunctioning random buff when he opens his eyes and finds himself resurrected.

Before him, two older friends stare each other down, seemingly about to stab each other in the kidneys. The air is thick with bitter resentment.

Tenai Seshū's vision goes dark. The moment they look at him, he throws up his hands and rushes to apologize: "It wasn't me! It really wasn't me this time! I fixed the Naruto Best Friends buff ages ago!"
