Ling, who has the ultra-dangerous ability [Deconstruction], got latched onto by a black, bandage-wrapped weirdo on his very first day in the Slums.

"A well-dressed young master like you shouldn't be coming here~" The strange, sticky voice oozed with smugness.

"Young master?" Ling gazed at him with golden eyes.

The other man's air of refinement was just as out of place in this rundown district.

"Which one of us is really the young master?"

The fantastically cute creature beside him made a sound of agreement. "Fuu~"

Ling, former wielder of the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, Chaldea's darling, and now one of the Port Mafia's five executives.

He likes that coward who is wrapped in bandages from head to toe.

"Wait, you like Dazai?!"

Ling replied matter-of-factly, "What's the problem?"

"Uh... Are you going to confess to him, then? I mean, let him know how you feel and all that."

Confusion filled Ling's golden eyes. "Why should I be the one to confess first, instead of him telling me how he feels?"

Nakajima Atsushi nervously looked toward the man sprawled on the sofa. "Mr. Dazai, yesterday I saw you and Mr. Ling k-k-kissing..."

"Hm?" Dazai Osamu sat up and took off his headphones in surprise. "You saw that, Atsushi? Oh my~ But that's grown-up business. Kids shouldn't get involved~"

"...So are you and Mr. Ling a couple?"

"Of course not~"

"Huh?!" What kind of jerk says that?!

But Dazai couldn't be bothered to answer him anymore. He waved Atsushi away, then flopped back onto the sofa, muttering to himself.

"Ling still hasn't confessed to me!"

"How much longer is he going to make me wait...?"

It's a romantic tug-of-war with Dazai! Basically, it's the sort of silent contest where "I like you, and I know you like me, but I'm not saying anything. You have to say it first," as if whoever speaks first loses! It's mutual unspoken love (or maybe openly acknowledged love)!

Looking at the boy's unusual red eyes, Dazai accepted his apology without a qualm. "It's all right. As long as you stay my dog and mine alone forever, I can put up with you."

"Okay."

Then Dazai Osamu realized he'd been tricked!!

The boy didn't stay his dog forever. After he recovered his memories, Dazai discovered he had a brother who would always be loyal to him!

The kind of loyalty where he'd risk his life to help his brother destroy the world.

Dazai was furious that someone had stolen what belonged to him!

1. The pairing is with Boss Dazai from the IF timeline.

2. A-Ya starts out with amnesia and recovers his memories later.
