Synopsis

A little plug for my upcoming novel, After Being Forced to Die for Love with Dazai. It also features a Soukoku pairing.

The members of the Bungo Stray Dogs cosplay group are all good kids who study hard and strive to improve, love life and brim with curiosity, and dare to take risks without fearing hardships.

Even their group instructor is a wonderful teacher who respects the students' opinions and never acts arbitrarily.

They are brave, kind, calm, and clever.

Though they haven't come of age yet, they already show promise for the future.

“We went to so much trouble to come to this world. Why not try being villains for once? Even if we fail, we'll just go back to our own world and be good students who love studying.”

“Sure.”

“Sounds like a good idea.”

“Agreed.”

“Then, Dazai, what's our plan?”

“Hmm, how about we eliminate all special abilities, whether they belong to people or curses? They're full of evil. They shouldn't exist.”

“Uh, isn't that a little hard to pull off?”

“I was just kidding.”

A while later.

“So the first step is still to steal Sukuna's fingers, so they don't steal our spotlight.”

After that, a strange group of people appeared in the Jujutsu Kaisen world.

No one knew where they came from. They followed the principle of stealing Sukuna's fingers, but refused to associate with curse users. Their goal was unknown, and there seemed to be infighting within their ranks.

The only information anyone managed to obtain was:

Meanwhile, in another world, the real Mr. Rice Ball suddenly sneezed for no apparent reason.

After everyone in the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia had their factions reversed:

“Dazai, does that mean you defected from the Agency or the Mafia?”

Kunikida, who was setting up his own character's storyline, asked.

“Shouldn't we first figure out which route this belongs to?”

Dazai looked at Oda, who was drinking tea nearby, and made a dry remark.

A joke: The ruthless leader Fukuzawa and the justice-loving director Mori.

The Jujutsu Kaisen villain plot is wrapped.

The Bungo Stray Dogs IF shenanigans begin.

The cosplayers aren't the only ones causing trouble. The plot is in on it, too.

They ended up in the wrong world~

The rope I bought snapped while I was hanging myself. Weird, I don't remember it having any frayed spots.

Fine, I'll try again next time. I'm never buying hemp rope from that store again. Terrible quality.

Dazai fell to the floor, rubbed his neck, which hurt a little from the brief lack of oxygen, brushed the dust from his clothes, and left.

Second suicide attempt: failed.

Fifth suicide attempt: failed.

I feel like someone is stopping me from killing myself. Who's so rotten that they'd stop me from leaving this boring world?

Tenth suicide attempt: failed.

I found him, but why can't I find any trace of him in Yokohama? It's as if he doesn't exist. Yet he shows up every time I try to kill myself. Who is he?

Then let's take a gamble. This time, I'll definitely catch you.

Osamu Dazai smiled, though there was something obsessive in his eyes. The wind tousled his hair as he lounged on the railing of the Mafia building's rooftop. He picked up the gun beside him, aimed it at his temple, and pulled the trigger.

I secretly damaged that guy's rope. Let's see him hang himself with that.

Second forced death:

Is this guy sick or what? It's only been a few days and he's trying to kill himself again. Are people in this tiny place called Japan all this messed up?

Third forced death:

Damn, not again. If I didn't survive whenever I stopped him from dying, this would be the third time I'd died right in front of my big brother. How unlucky can I get, getting my life tied to a suicide maniac?

Fifth forced death:

Looks like that guy's figured something out. I'd better be careful.

Eleventh forced death:

He's trying to force me to show myself. He knows about me.

Chuuya, who had been raised from childhood by the Norse god Verlaine, was forced to have his life bound to Dazai, who was attempting suicide in the distant Yokohama, Japan. Thus began a long struggle to stay alive by preventing someone else from dying.

The reason the game Red and Black Erosion rose above so many other management games was its seemingly endless gallery of player endings and its utterly unpredictable storylines.

Romance, business, and clashes between the red and black factions. With its incredible freedom, every choice affects the final ending.

So even though the game was pay-to-win, and players had to spend money to refresh NPC data and start over, it still ranked first among games of its type.

Terashima Kazukiyo was an outstanding example of a player with more money than sense and more free time than he knew what to do with. He ranked first in the ending gallery by unlocking 99 endings.

But! But! But!

That didn't mean it was acceptable to actually enter the game and become an NPC. He'd never killed anyone, and he usually only interacted with one or two living people. What was the first thing you did when greeting someone?

Say, “How are you?”

Or, “You look familiar. Have we met somewhere?”

At least the game hadn't left him with nothing. He'd transmigrated with his collection of 99 endings and a mission details sheet that was completely useless.

“Damn it.” A kind of plant.

Now he wanted to die even more.

Whatever. It was just a full-dive game. He only had to collect 100 endings. It sounded easy. He just had to treat everyone like an NPC. No big deal.

A pep talk from a socially anxious person.

Among the 99 endings in the gallery, only one was an almost-failed ending that he'd been forced to unlock. The last struggle of a loser, a tragic ending where the sincere trust he offered was repaid with betrayal.

Terashima Kazukiyo had once been in a one-sided online romance with an NPC from a game. His heart had skipped a beat across dimensions.

Everyone knew that if you chose the Black Organization faction, among all the subordinates whose loyalties were hard to discern, whose positions were unclear, and who each had their own agendas, the only one whose allegiance never wavered was the Action Division's killer, codenamed Gin.

Terashima Kazukiyo knew that, too. So when he faced a man who would never betray him, completed every mission assigned to him, knew him inside and out, and was a handsome, white-haired, stone-faced killer, his heart suddenly stirred across dimensions.

But in the game that made his heart flutter, he was betrayed.

He was betrayed by Gin, who everyone remembered as being on the Black Organization's side.

When the game played its cutscene, the silver-haired killer raised his gun at the player's portrait and delivered the classic line every undercover agent used: “You're under arrest. Surrender.” Terashima Kazukiyo almost thought he hadn't slept enough and was seeing things.

In the end, years of gaming experience and money spent let him unlock a faction victory ending, but he felt as if his heart had died. Did his heart flutter? It sure did, almost enough to send him in for surgery.

Damn it, there was no sincerity in this world. Even in a game, everyone was a liar. Terashima Kazukiyo decided to become a cold, uncaring mastermind behind the organization and not pay attention to a certain killer.

If he met that liar afterward, what should he wear?

Terashima Kazukiyo felt his social anxiety coming on again.

The pairing is Gin.

The Black Organization probably wins.

■■I Have a Special Mushroom Ability

1.

For some reason, Qin Ge had an intense love of mushrooms.

So when she was bound to a mushroom-raising System, the first thing that popped into her mind was a message:

[Ding-dong! Your love of mushrooms has beaten out 100% of the people in Yunnan.]

Instead of thinking about how to use the System to reach the top, Qin Ge was more curious about whether these mushrooms were edible.

Looking at the freshly grown bright-red mushrooms, with their standard white stems and red caps, Qin Ge hesitated for a moment. In the end, she trusted the descriptions provided by the System.

Taste: Like sugarcane with the flavor of strawberries in the human world

Toxicity: Non-toxic

Effect: Temporarily changes the voice (untested)]

She didn't know what temporarily changing her voice meant, but non-toxic meant it was safe to try.

Qin Ge was still curious about what strawberry-flavored sugarcane was supposed to taste like.

Jiang Li thought Secretary Qin was acting a little strange today.

She hadn't given her usual morning greeting, and another assistant had been sent to handle today's work report.

Wanting to show concern for his subordinate, Jiang Li walked over to Qin Ge's desk, leaned down slightly, and asked, “Secretary Qin, is your throat bothering you today?”

Qin Ge nodded furiously, then used gestures to explain that her throat was temporarily out of commission.

But that very night, Jiang Li heard Qin Ge's voice.

“Darling, help! My voice sounds like Li Kui's today. I've spent the whole day lying to my boss and coworkers, telling them I've lost my voice. If they hear me, I'll never be able to show my face at work again.”

A voice completely at odds with Qin Ge's lovely appearance filled the entire space.

Jiang Li stood in a blind spot, unsure whether to alert the elegant secretary ahead, who was chatting with someone over voice call, to the fact that he was in the corner too.

At the same time, Jiang Li knew he'd overheard an embarrassing secret. If he showed himself, Secretary Qin might hand in her resignation tomorrow.

Secretary Qin: cool on the surface, a complainer underneath, and willing to test poisonous mushrooms on herself for the sake of mushrooms.

President Jiang: realizes he may know too much, but doesn't want to receive his secretary's resignation.

P.S. This should be the final blurb.

The faction reversal is a secondary element. It won't be showcased much early on, until there are more characters around.
