[The entire novel is complete! Please support the official version on Jinjiang. Before you start reading, please make sure you can accept the notes below the blurb.] [Please add my original upcoming novel, I Became the Avatar of the Red Moon, to your collection~] Amamiya Ruisheng was born frail and sickly, and was always coughing up blood. He struggled to live until he was eighteen, and just when he thought his life was about to end, a battered secret identity System found him. It said he could use secret identities to experience life in a body free of illness, and that completing missions and collecting energy could extend his life. He figured that since he was going to die anyway, he might as well give it a try. But the System really was battered: the secret identities had all kinds of flaws, and even inherited the blood-spitting debuff from his original body. - The private tutor hired by a family tended to the child's wounds, wrapped them in bandages, and told them to cherish their life. As he spoke, he spat blood all over the floor. The bandaged child: You don't cherish your own life. Amamiya Ruisheng: I was born this way. Don't worry, I won't die. - A newly enrolled student at the technical college fought a curse spirit tooth and nail. After exorcising it, he was about to greet the Six Eyes student who had arrived when he opened his mouth and spat blood all over the floor. His classmate's eyes widened in shock: Are you hurt? Amamiya Ruisheng: I'm not hurt. That fight was great. I won't die. - The strongest peacemaker in the Vongola spends every day stopping the Guardians from fighting, or rushing to stop them from fighting. His method is to simply step between them and start spitting blood. The strongest Guardian: We're done fighting. The poor little thing should go get treated. Amamiya Ruisheng: Thanks for your concern, but I really won't die. His friends worried every day that he was about to die, so Amamiya Ruisheng had to keep insisting that he wouldn't. But before he could collect enough energy, his original body gave out. Somewhat regretfully, he stopped his missions, made arrangements for each secret identity, returned to his original body, and prepared to wait for death. Then his friends suddenly realized that the person who had always smiled and told them, "I won't die," was truly gone. "Please keep living." They sincerely wished him that. [Notes] [Please make sure you can accept these before you start reading.] * The worlds do not merge. The story involves slow travel between worlds, very, very slowly. The protagonist is a Yokohama native, and the worlds will never merge. * The protagonist has no CP. His only goal in life is to survive. There will be a few one-sided crushes, but the focus is on family and friendship! * He is not loved by everyone and is not a universal heartthrob. There are no love rivals or dramatic breakups, and no one betrays or owes anyone anything. Everyone is a good kid. * There will definitely be OOC moments, as well as various headcanons and made-up details, such as Dazai's childhood and the ten years of the aquatic products. The author has very strong rose-colored glasses, so if you can't stand that, please quietly leave. If you pick a fight with me, you're right. * I want to write a gentle story. It's very slow-paced and focuses on everyday life. Whether it's healing or depressing... I don't know. (Looks away.) * Original secret identities. Their hair and eye colors match the original body, but everything else is different. Their identities will not be exposed, since there's no CP. (The secret identities have certain kinks; if you can't accept that, please leave in time.) * The protagonist will be alive at the end. * More to come... Upcoming light danmei novel I Became the Avatar of the Red Moon: A no-CP, everyone-loves-him novel with Fourth Calamity secret identities Yu Jianglan was obsessed with a full-dive fantasy adventure game set in another world, called Beneath the Red Moon. After playing for years, he was about to become the first player to clear the game and reach the place where the Red Moon hung in the sky when he suddenly transmigrated. He transmigrated into the game world, becoming the red moon that shone over the night, and gained a game System. Yu Jianglan: ...? If I had to transmigrate, couldn't I at least have become a person? The red moon symbolized the eerie and the ominous in the game, and was the most mysterious presence in the story's setting. The players all made uncovering the red moon's secrets their goal, and Yu Jianglan felt a headache coming on. No, absolutely not. He had to save himself! So... The sickly lord of the "starter city" saw off the departing players. Blind, his unfocused pupils seemed to watch them through the white cloth covering his eyes. Weak but sincere, he offered them his blessing: "The Red Moon watches over you. May its light bless you with a safe journey." A beautiful merperson was locked away in the deep sea behind layer upon layer of bars. Every day, he wept blood and cried out in sorrow. Only when he was dying did he break free and return to the shallows. Looking up at the full moon in the sky, he sang aloud: "The Red Moon saved me." A greatly respected human leader resolutely ventured into the uninhabited lands on the night of the red moon. Cloaked in moonlight, he never lost his way, and brought back hope for humanity. When people called him their savior, he retorted: "The Red Moon guided me. It is the true savior." After Yu Jianglan went through countless hardships to take human form and emerge from the moon, he discovered that, in the eyes of both players and natives, the Red Moon no longer symbolized misfortune. It had become a treasure everyone desperately sought. When darkness falls, the Red Moon, once feared, is the light that illuminates the world. He is the bright moon shining over everyone.
