The opponents are bewildered. Is that frail, pretty guy Rikkai's mascot? Then the mascot steps onto the court and beats them 6–0. As they stare in shock, the mascot smiles so beautifully it's almost bewitching and holds out a hand. “You're a worthy opponent. I look forward to playing you again.” Dazed, the opponent takes his hand, then returns to his own tennis club blushing and flustered. “H-he's actually really nice.” Hoshino Makoto: I'm feasting! During a school interview, a reporter asks, “Why did you join the tennis club, Hoshino?” Hoshino Makoto: “Because I was hungry.” Reporter: “Then what's your favorite food, Hoshino?” Hoshino Makoto: “Right now, Akaya and Senpai Atobe.” Reporter: “? _ ?” Hoshino Makoto: “＾ _ ＾” Who could resist chilled, spicy kelp salad paired with summer ice cream? He certainly can't. Reader's guide: 1. Central-cast focus, no romantic pairing. The protagonist is just here for the food! The main story is about a little incubus playing tennis to get meals, with slice-of-life and match action split fifty-fifty. 2. Tennis is the main setting. Characters from other series are just background extras. The other settings are here for the protagonist's safety while playing tennis, his backstory, and the author's personal preferences (everyone is shipped with everyone, and everyone survives). The plot is heavily changed, an alternate timeline, and serves as background for the protagonist's origins (important!). It does not get involved in the main plots of the other series (important). 3. The protagonist is powerful and undefeated. His bloodline is an overpowered golden finger!! (Important.) He's unbelievably good-looking and has a natural charm skill (important), irresistible to every gender, and gets plenty of attention for his looks. 4. There's a tendency toward everyone adoring and spoiling the protagonist, but he's not a typical heartthrob. (He's very good at tricking people into giving him status through his skill.) Hence another title for this story: The Princes Who Got Scammed. 5. There is a lot of OOC, including but not limited to the timeline. The fan-created settings are extensive, and the author is obsessed with turning everyone into cats. There are lots of cat transformations.
