The Sword Cultivator Is Training Through Tennis Again

[Complete. Bonus chapters are being posted.] A special new student enrolled at Rikkai this year. Long hair falling over his shoulders, a face as beautiful as a girl's, and a delicate look that suggested he couldn't take care of himself. The tennis club members: “...” He skipped practice just days after joining the club; knocked the vice captain's racket flying with a single shot; and even went fishing with the seaweed-haired guy, baiting players from other schools into challenging them. You people with your beauty filters, tone it down already!!! * Tsukishiro Akira was the last young sword cultivator of an age when spiritual cultivation had all but died out, and he was obsessed with training. After an accidental transmigration, he was deeply troubled by his inability to cultivate. Then one day, he watched a tennis world championship match so fantastical it might as well have been xianxia. Mystery solved! In this world, you can cultivate only by playing tennis! * Yukimura had been feeling troubled lately. His new junior didn't seem to genuinely like tennis, lacked team spirit, and didn't feel any sense of belonging to the tennis club. Yukimura: “Akira, why did you want to play tennis?” Tsukishiro Akira: “To cultivate.” Yukimura: “I don't quite understand what cultivation is, but... what made you want to cultivate?” Tsukishiro Akira: “Because... what?” The elders had drilled into Tsukishiro Akira from birth that he must cultivate diligently and shoulder the burden of the sword cultivators. Now he fell into deep thought. Yukimura ruffled Tsukishiro Akira's hair. “I hope Akira does things because he wants to.” “Even though you're often with us, you always seem lonely.” “If you can, try trusting us a little more.” * Besides fulfilling the dream of Rikkai's 16+3, this is also the story of a boy starved for affection being healed by his friends. Bottom, paired with Yukimura. Since they're young, there's little romance in the main story. Readers who prefer no romance can give it a try, as long as they don't mind the pairing. The actual romance will be in the bonus chapters. P.S. I'm not a full-time author, just an office worker with one day off a week, writing this for myself. No need to tell me if you drop the story. Life is hard enough already, so please don't make a big deal out of it. If you don't like it, just click away. Let me recommend my new story, "Would It Be Reasonable for Me to Become a Police Officer After Unlocking Criminal Skills?" Asahi Yukiro transmigrated. Good news: It's the modern era. Bad news: He has no memories of the original owner, and the crime rate around him is just a little bit high. To fit into his new life, Asahi Yukiro has to pretend he has amnesia, until one day he receives two emails. [Next Saturday, Black Bar. New assignment., GIN] [Someone broke into the archive room. Your identity may be exposed. Keep it hidden., Unknown number] Asahi Yukiro: “???” Well, no wonder the crime rate's so high. This really is the Detective Conan world, huh? * To obtain the list of undercover agents, the Organization sends undercover agent Asahi Yukiro to infiltrate the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department (?). But as an ordinary person, making it in the First Investigative Division is no easy feat. Luckily, he's bound to a “Skill Extraction System.” Whenever he catches a criminal, he can acquire one of their skills. Asahi Yukiro: “Gin, I'm hungry. Send me a few criminals so I can get promoted!” Gin: “...Pick up the goods in the alley on Second Street in a little while.” “Ding! Thief caught. Acquired skill: [Pickpocketing].” Takagi: “Careful, that criminal has a handgun!” Asahi Yukiro raised his hand. “Do you mean this one? I happened to swipe it just now.” Everyone: “???” Thanks to his outstanding performance, Asahi Yukiro gets promoted at a dizzying pace, much to the Organization's delight. Until one day... The Organization's Boss: “Y-you, don't come any closer! Don't take me too and use me to get promoted!!!” Theme: Work hard for a better future
