Can an American Horror Story Boss Be Dogified Too?

[Updates every day at 10 a.m. ^ω^] When Qiu Ke was on the verge of death, he heard the System’s voice. His only hope of coming back to life was to survive the various game instances. But the System had bad intentions, and his teammates were always picking on him, thinking he was too weak and had nothing but a pretty face, and that he only cleared stages thanks to an extraordinary talent. What kind of talent it was went without saying, judging by their vulgar, lewd laughter. Qiu Ke looked at his talent panel and was terrified. Innate Talent: [Dogification] Every so often, you can dogify any target you choose. A dogified target gains the traits of a dog. Puppies are guaranteed to love you, so treat your puppy well. 1. “Bloodstained Hunting Grounds” A group of M-country college students set out on a road trip, only to stumble into a hunting ground in another world. Their hopes of escape vanish amid screams and gunshots. In a dim cabin, a kindly hunter covered in blood gives them time to say their last words. “You’re so cute.” “...?” “Your fur is so beautiful.” Qiu Ke’s eyes glisten with tears as he tentatively asks, “Would you like to come home with me? I’ll... I’ll take good care of you...” The hunter in a rabbit-head mask grips his wrist. His breath is hot, his voice hoarse. “Take a beast home... Do you know what that means?” 2. “The Cursed Doll Amusement Park” The chosen “lucky ones” must take part in a cruel reality show at a blood-red amusement park. Inside the park’s cute mascot suits lurk demons with ill intentions. Qiu Ke lives in constant fear, but discovers that the demons are fighting over the limited number of mascot suits. What unsettles him even more is that the mascots keep approaching him under all kinds of pretexts. “Good thing I found you.” He strokes the head beneath his hand fondly. It feels hard and cold. “Good puppy, come outside with me.” The host crouches in front of him without a word. The fabric is stretched tight, and suppressed panting mingles with the crackling static from the TV-headed figure. Text and emoticons flicker across the screen on its face. “(＞///＜)!” 3. “Peaceful Little Town” By day, it’s a tranquil, beautiful Western town. By night, it turns into a deadly escape game crawling with monsters. The church may be the only refuge, but you have to keep your identity as a heretic hidden. “Come now, child,” asks the priest, whose feathered ears cover his eyes in a gentle voice. “Tell me, what form does our God take in your eyes?” Before the twisted god, no lie can go undetected. Nearly all Qiu Ke’s teammates are wiped out. They babble madly, screaming as they’re dragged into the darkness. Qiu Ke: “I see a big black dog.” The god says he’s telling the truth. The priest: ...Huh? They should have said so sooner. It’s the Church of the Doggy God, after all. That tail is huge. It must wag like crazy, right? Qiu Ke loves all cute little dogs. Ignoring the horrified looks of people who think he’s insane, he decides that in this hell, only puppies can comfort his fragile heart. I found dogs, everyone! They all want to come home with me! They’re just swamp puppies, jungle puppies, ocean puppies, and lots and lots of big dogs. What do you mean crocodiles, pythons, great white sharks, and indescribable monsters? He’s always taken care of the puppies himself, but they’re very clingy and keep fighting with each other, which gives him a bit of a headache. Is it that time of year? Does he have to take care of this one himself too? [...] [You have to admit, your talent is pretty interesting.] The System said. [...Come on, do me a favor, Master. The game-clearing plot is extremely gentle and low-stakes. * Written purely for my personal tastes. Please be kind. * “Dogification” is the protagonist’s condition and special ability, not an insult. It’s a bit like Pokemon at first (x), with everyone having unrequited crushes on him. Later, he recovers and gives every puppy a home, and they all live together in a huge mansion. Tentacles writhe, held back in the shadows, while a dark, unfamiliar heat burns in his eyes. “I’m only checking for you, Boss.” 3. “Strange Tales” is a popular shonen manga about a protagonist who encounters supernatural incidents, purifies one anomaly after another, and saves the world. Zheng Chen is the manga’s most notorious and wildly popular villain, always opposing the protagonist. But lately, the story has started to go off the rails. More and more anomalies are appearing around Zheng Chen. Eyes beneath the bed, faint breathing under the pillow, damp patches slowly spreading across the bedding... They don’t want to cause trouble. They just want to get close to him, touch him, and tease him until he lets his guard down. He has no choice but to swallow his pride and ask his nemesis to drive them all away. His nemesis agrees, then stares at him for a long moment. “You seem to have become... cuter lately.” Zheng Chen punches him, horrified. “Don’t say creepy things in broad daylight!” What’s going on? What the hell is going on? It’s as if some mysterious force from outside is affecting everyone, from his nemesis and subordinates to the anomalies themselves.
