The Villain's Father

After I died, I lost my memories and couldn't find my way home. Then the world's consciousness came to me and asked me to become the father missing from countless villains' lives. During that time, I appeared in roles including, but not limited to: The father sacrificed by the Cursed Spirit Manipulator, and the head of the Zenin family whom Naoya called an old fossil. The parent the Heavenly Restriction Tyrant had no record of, and the hapless dad of the King of Curses, The clan head Itachi used to test his mettle on the night of the massacre, The old man killed by the Paradise Cult leader, and the Heian-era noble resented by the thousand-year-old demon king for not giving him a strong body. Although the world's consciousness said this was necessary to make up for the family love the villains had missed out on, they kept stabbing me in the back whenever we spent time together. So I secretly called them “filial children.” After completing my mission, I returned to my original world. But I never expected my best friend to commemorate me by making me into the Deva Path of Pain, endlessly carrying rice. The moment I returned, I was using the Rinnegan to beat up my nearly sixty-year-old mentor, Jiraiya. I'm done. I sat bolt upright on my deathbed. Turns out I was the filial child all along. At last, I reunited with my family. The Akatsuki was already full, though. That left me in a bind. Nagato saw how troubled I was. “What's wrong? You're the leader of the Akatsuki. If there's someone else you have your eye on, we could make an exception for you.” My best friend's thoughtfulness brought tears to my eyes. After all, this time I wasn't alone. I had more than a dozen good, devoted kids, none of whom shared my parents, following behind me. *The timeline has been adjusted. *The protagonist plays every role as himself. *Nagato is the likely love interest, though I might sample someone else along the way. I'm sure anyone can fit into this wonderful family. *The protagonist's character art was drawn by Xiaoyue's dear friend, @Hongying, so please take a look. Muah, muah, muah! Theme: Home is a shelter from the storm.
