After the Male Leads Went Crazy, They All Turned into Male Ghosts

Shao Lang is at it again, working himself to the bone and willing to “die” a thousand times for the job.

But lately, things have been getting downright spooky.

[The Alluring Landlord Is So Hard to Shake]

Shao Lang’s landlord kills him, then falls into a twisted romance with the classmate who witnessed the scene.

That’s how it was supposed to go, but the landlord “spares” him instead.

The landlord not only refuses to kill him, he grants his every request. If Shao Lang goes even one day without asking him for something, he starts having unspeakable dreams.

With no other options, Shao Lang flees to the remote mountains with his classmate, only to find that his new landlord has the same gentle, refined face.

And that’s not all. Strange things start happening in the village…

“The village has been unsettled lately,” the landlord tells him gently. Behind him, the twisted shadows of the trees dance in silence. “Don’t be afraid. I’ll protect you.”

The plot is really starting to get weird.

Shao Lang steels himself: Don’t start acting crazy here.

[The CEO Is Having Another Episode]

Shao Lang is starting to think twice about dying, so he switches to a melodramatic task.

First, he becomes the lover of an amnesiac man he rescued and carefully looked after for a year. Then he watches as the man, heir to a powerful conglomerate, gets engaged to someone else.

The man regains his memories, forgets Shao Lang alone, and tries to draw a clear line between them, throwing money in his face.

Shao Lang follows the script and fake-cries for two days. From then on, he becomes the catalyst for the man’s tortured romance with his fiancée, and prepares to clock out happily.

But after more than half a year without a word, the man suddenly shows up at his door. As if afflicted by some unspeakable addiction, his instincts torment Shao Lang’s body, wreck his mind, and erode his reason. Pleasure and pain split him in two. Without the man’s tender attention, his body and heart itch and ache as if covered in crawling ants.

“You must have done something to me while I had amnesia!” the man grits out, struggling to hold back his anger and desire. “My body… remembers you.”

Shao Lang: How did this happen?

Can’t he just take some Chinese herbal medicine to get himself back in balance?

[The Young Master Is Always Begging to Be Insulted]

Shao Lang has gotten smarter.

The pay is a little lower, but at least he actually gets paid.

This time, all he has to do is wait for the real young master, switched out at birth with a cat, to come and kick him out.

He viciously insults the real young master, but the young man doesn’t get angry at all. The more Shao Lang curses him, the happier and more excited he gets.

“Insult me again,” the young master pleads earnestly.

Shao Lang is falling apart.

Why are all the male leads he meets acting crazy!?

And never mind the craziness, they aren’t even human!!

People shouldn’t be dogs. At least, they shouldn’t.

And neither should nonhumans.

In brief:

The alluring landlord won’t let go, the aloof CEO has an episode, and the scion of a wealthy family gets hooked on being insulted. Why are they all scrambling to become dogs?

Attracting perverts is a recipe for misery, and falling into traps is his fate.

He runs, they chase, and he can’t get away even if he grows wings.

The male leads go crazy and stop acting human, while ghosts come knocking in the mission worlds.

Shao Lang, licked and dripping wet: …Well, that really is spooky!!

His mission was supposed to take place somewhere with no ghosts!

Guide:

1. My personal preferences. I like big-chested nonhumans who are devoted to pleasing others. I love scenes where a feisty little kitty gets grabbed and kissed into meowing by a scheming McDonald’s mascot. If that’s your thing, please enjoy.

2. Includes supernatural elements. The protagonist is mildly irresistible to everyone. Since they aren’t human, they’ll get caught up in supernatural settings later on, but the author writes supernatural stuff like a baby’s cartoon, so it’s all in service of the nonhuman characters.

3. Split personalities; one-on-one ending.

Can American Horror Story Bosses Be Turned Into Dogs?

When Qiu Ke was on the verge of death, he heard the System’s voice.

His only hope of coming back to life was to survive the various game instances.

But the System was up to no good, and his teammates were always looking down on him, thinking him too weak and good for nothing but his pretty face. He only cleared the stages thanks to his extraordinary talent.

The nature of that talent was obvious from their vulgar, lewd laughter.

Qiu Ke looked at his talent screen and was terrified.

Innate Talent: [Dogification]

Every so often, you can turn anyone you choose into a dog.

Those dogified will be given “dog” traits.

Puppies are guaranteed to love you. Please treat your puppy well.

1. [The Bloody Road Sign]

A group of college students from M country set off on a road trip, only to stumble into another world’s hunting grounds.

Their hopes of escape are shattered by screams and gunfire. Inside a dim cabin, a kind hunter covered in blood gives them time to say their last words.

“You’re so cute.”

“…?”

“Your fur is so pretty.” Qiu Ke’s eyes grow damp as he tentatively asks, “Would you like to come home with me? I’ll… I’ll be really good to you…”

The hunter in a rabbit mask grips his wrist. Hot breath brushes his ear as the hunter rasps,

“Take a beast home… Do you know what happens next?”

2. [The Haunted Puppet Park]

The chosen “lucky ones” must take part in a brutal live-action show at a blood-soaked amusement park. Some demons disguise themselves as harmless toys, luring their prey with sweet lies.

Qiu Ke is terrified for his life, but discovers that the demons are fighting like mad over a limited supply of toy costumes. Even more unsettling, those costumes keep approaching him under one pretext or another.

“Good thing I found you.” He strokes the head beneath his hand tenderly. It feels hard and cold. “Good puppy. Come outside with me.”

The host crouches before him without a word. Fabric stretches taut, and suppressed gasps mingle with the static coming from the TV-headed host.

Text and emoticons flash across the screen on the front of its face.

“(>///<)!”

…

Qiu Ke loves all cute puppies.

Ignoring the horrified looks from everyone else, who think he’s crazy, he believes that only dogs can soothe his fragile heart in this hell.

We found dogs, everyone! They all want to come home with him!

They’re swamp puppies, jungle puppies, ocean puppies, and lots and lots of big dogs. What do you mean they’re crocodiles, pythons, great white sharks, and indescribable monsters?

He’s always done everything himself when it comes to caring for his puppies, but they’re clingy and keep fighting each other, which is giving him a bit of a headache.

Has it reached that special time of year?

Does he have to take care of this himself too?

[Have to admit, your talent is pretty interesting.]

The System says.
