- A Warring States Battle Royale with a Historical-Fandom Flavor
My older brother went mad, my younger brother became an idiot, and I tearfully took on the burden of the Rengoku family. I became the second Oda Nobunaga, the second Hojo Masako, and successfully destroyed the Ashikaga clan. The Rengoku era began.
In my twilight years, I toured the Kyoto region and found two people facing off in a reed field.
I looked closer. One was my idiot younger brother, and the other was my older brother, transformed into Belial.
Those two idiots were about to kill each other!
My guards shouted them down.
They both turned around. My foolish younger brother froze for a second, then dropped to his knees.
Belial, my older brother, stared in shock, then slowly knelt too.
“Big Sister...”
After I threatened and bribed my older brother, he turned me into a demon. Soon, I’d be able to stay young forever.
When I learned my older brother had a formidable boss above him, I flew into a rage. How could I tolerate someone else snoring right beside me? Younger brother, get him!
My decrepit little brother charged off, waving his sword and hollering.
He killed my older brother’s boss, and somehow my brother became the new Demon King.
Wonderful, Big Brother! You lead the troops at night, and I’ll change my name and pretend to be my granddaughter. Together, we’ll wipe out those Northern clans, the Takeda and the Uesugi...!
My younger brother didn’t want to become a demon. He asked whether he’d go to hell. My older brother glared at him, six times over.
I kindly told him that when people die, they’re gone. Hell is nonsense, just something people made up.
“Big Sister, where do people go after they die?” My foolish younger brother looked at me with hopeful eyes.
“Yoriichi, when people die, they all turn into rotten dog shit,” I said gently.
“Big Sister, that’s too crude!” snapped the exasperated Kokushibo.
Kokushibo began to regret leaving back then. Maybe if he hadn’t left, Big Sister wouldn’t have been twisted into this by the vortex of power... Big Sister used to be so gentle!
She only hit people a tiny bit too hard!
My older brother told me that Yoriichi was the child of a god.
I looked at him and said pityingly, “Is there any difference between Yoriichi’s brain and a banana?”
My younger brother, now a demon, asked me, “Big Sister, can you really compare a banana to a brain?”
I gave my older brother an I-told-you-so look.

1. The heroine is a transmigrator with the temperament of Empress Lü. She’s already been molded by her era, so please don’t question the characterization of a power-hungry monster who lived nearly ninety years. Don’t question the heroine’s characterization (.
2. The story opens with the brothers’ showdown in a reed field. You really can read this without knowing the original work! (Seriously.) The main plot follows the Rengoku brothers as they conquer the land, with several battle scenes and a huge cast of real-life Japanese Warring States figures! A full-on crash course in Japanese Warring States history!!
3. Please don’t overanalyze. Don’t read too much into the characters’ actions as reflections of the author. The heroine is a lunatic. This is an alternate history, and some details will be embellished. No nitpicking, no writing advice. An absolutely lethal dose of historical spin-off elements included.
4. The heroine has a husband, who is literally dead. There’ll be heart-wrenching sibling love, a whole bunch of grandchildren, and puppet rulers. The romance is probably between a combative couple (?). The male lead is an original character.
[Note]: The heir is a man. The heroine can rule solely because her personal abilities are far superior to everyone else’s. (One more thing: I never said the heir would be chosen based on ability. I’ll be blunt: the old lady is obsessed with legitimate heirs, so the heir has to be the eldest legitimate son! That’s her characterization. Don’t question the old lady’s characterization!)
Also, the author’s taste is feudal, so stop asking why I didn’t make the heir a woman. That would just take a few strokes of the pen. I simply don’t want to. That’s writing advice, and I refuse all writing advice, thanks. I don’t usually jump into the comments to delete them, but if you really make me angry, I won’t be nice.
No word substitutions, no restrictions on any of the saucy content ^ ^ Thanks for your support.

-The character profile doesn’t include Belial Big Brother because my commissioned art has gone wrong yet again!

- [Tokaido Arc]
Two years ago, Yoriichi told me he’d found a job, though he’d be working the night shift.
I was delighted and told him to work hard and earn money to find a wife for our wonderful eldest son.
Yoriichi nodded happily.
Two years later, Yoriichi brought home a dazed-looking man in the middle of the night who looked almost exactly like him.
He said it was his big brother, and that they’d be going to work together tomorrow.
Me: ?
I looked at the crest on Yoriichi’s brother’s armor and the family emblem on his clothes. My hand trembled, and I gave my howling son a smack on the backside.
This time, my son really cried, loud enough to shake the heavens.

Living to a ripe old age in a time of chaos is difficult.
Matsudaira Tadashi thought about her family background and figured it wouldn’t be too hard.
After all, her name was Matsudaira. Yes, that Matsudaira!
Matsudaira Tadashi stayed out of family affairs, but whenever her father asked for advice, she gave it.
All she wanted was to enjoy a peaceful farming life with her husband!
Well, four years ago, she encountered a man-eating demon, so she knew that wasn’t possible.
But still!
Yoriichi, you jerk! Why did you bring the neighboring lord home?!
I knew I shouldn’t have moved to the border. Damn it!

Michikatsu asked about the Sun Breathing style.
Matsudaira Tadashi gave him a copy of The Complete Guide to Breathing Techniques and said he could practice any of the styles in it.
Michikatsu: “Why isn’t Sun Breathing in here?”
Matsudaira Tadashi answered seriously, pointing to the father and son sitting side by side and eating pastries: “I advise you not to try it. Sun Breathing swordsmen have extremely high body temperatures. My husband was burned stupid by it, and now my son’s going to be burned stupid too.”
Matsudaira Tadashi beat her chest and stamped her feet. “What a misfortune for the family to have a husband like this!”
Michikatsu: “...”
Matsudaira Tadashi turned around. “Hiyoshimaru! You should teach your father to read!”
Michikatsu: “???”
The little boy with a topknot snatched Yoriichi’s pastry, stuffed it into his mouth, and gestured wildly as he spoke indistinctly. “Let’s go, Daddy.”

1. Content warning: childbirth.
2. The heroine has a golden finger. The eldest son is the soul of Toyotomi Hideyoshi in a transmigrated body. Matsudaira is equivalent to Tokugawa.
3. Canon couples will be broken up.
Theme: Build a new world for the people you love.
