[Blue Lock] The Three-Yu Law

[I reject ratings of three stars or lower. This is a free labor-of-love story, so if you don’t like it, please click X and leave without a trace. Thank you.] The number three and I have an inexplicable connection. I have two childhood friends. For a long time, the three of us ate and lived together like siblings, despite having no blood relation. I have two friends. We met in high school, clicked immediately, and pursued our dreams together. They both sound like lovely stories, right? ...But trios have a terrifying rule: eventually, one person always gets left out, and as long as there are three of you, everyone feels like the odd one out. I call it the Three’s a Crowd Law, also known as the Third Wheel Theorem. This terrifying rule has been proven time and again in my life. Either I’m the one left behind, or I’m caught between the other two, torn over what to do. Then a project called Blue Lock launched, and most of my difficult childhood friends and other friends were locked inside. I wiped the cold sweat from my forehead, thinking I could finally take a breather. Then the only childhood friend still outside asked me, “What’s going on? And what’s this about you having two boyfriends?” ...Somebody save me!!!! And then, right after that... I got sent in, too. ◆The blurb is written in first person, but the story itself is in third person. The perspective switches to the protagonist in the side stories and interludes. ◆Based on the original Blue Lock. My take on the characters may be out of character. Blurb first posted in December 2022. ◆The girl is a goalkeeper. There are love triangles and one-sided crushes. Every character has a life and thoughts of their own, and romance isn’t everything. This isn’t a wish-fulfillment story or a reverse harem. There will be endings for different routes and some author commentary. Very slow-paced, very slow-paced, very slow-paced. Once we get to the venue, there’ll be lots of banter and memes, with only a little plot. Daily life + matches. The match scenes aren’t great, and there may be mistakes. This is a self-indulgent labor of love, so don’t insult me or give me three stars or lower. I didn’t do anything to you. Theme: Take your future into your own hands
