[Western Crossover] Batman, Why Does Your Cat Keep Ringing?

I’m Opal, an Omega-level mutant with psychic powers.

In my second semester after transferring to Metropolis Middle School, I was elected class president.

To live up to my classmates’ trust, I decided to do a good job.

But the new boss’s first day brought a difficult student who wouldn’t cooperate:

Damian Wayne was skipping class and not turning in his homework.

To defend my authority as class president, I ignored everyone’s advice and took leave to go catch him.

The Joker had escaped that day. When I used my psychic search to locate Damian, I found him at the center of the chaos.

Wearing a full costume, Damian was wildly swinging a knife at the crowd.

What was this, cosplay?

I swallowed hard and pulled out my phone to compare:

Wait, that outfit... Isn’t he the new Robin!?

.

Damian realized that the new class president this semester was a little strange.

She always seemed to watch him from the shadows, as though she wanted to say something but couldn’t make up her mind.

Her looks had become more and more obvious lately. Even Jon had noticed. He declared confidently, “Opal looks so conflicted whenever she looks at you. She’s definitely in love with you!”

Damian knew nothing about romance and had no interest in humanity’s primal desires. He thought up a hundred ways to turn her down, but as time passed, Opal still didn’t make a move.

He then decided she was a coward. If she did confess, he supposed he could accept.

One day in gym class, the girl pulled him into a corner during free time. Damian straightened his collar, calm and ready to hear her confess her love.

Instead, the girl blushed, gripped the hem of her shirt, and spoke timidly:

“I always see you catching up on sleep. Being a hero must be exhausting...”

“Would you like me to help you study?”

Damian: ...Huh?

#Oh, she knows my secret identity as a vigilante

#All right, enough small talk. What about the real business?

There are chapters written in advance. Their relationship will be officially confirmed when they’re adults.

A romantic tug-of-war between Damian and a straight-A student who can’t read the room!

Theme: Straight-A students should stay away from bad cat boys
