Skinny, Starving, but Super Strong [Special Containment]

When I was eight, my parents became monsters on a rainy night.

I seemed to be affected too. When I opened my eyes, I could see strange things:

Giant spiders, hundreds of eyeballs on blank faces, beautiful women on billboards chewing on severed limbs...

Sometimes the buns in the steamer were beating hearts; sometimes the cereal in my bowl was made of eyeballs that were still spinning.

I have always known this world is fake.

From the age of eight until I turned eighteen, I kept searching for a way to escape it.

One day, someone who claimed to be my "older brother" came to school to pick me up.

When I saw that he, like me, refused to eat cereal with eyeballs in it, I knew we were alike.

The Abnormal Phenomena Management Bureau received a report.

An ancestral-god-level containment object, the Evil Seed, was about to awaken from the inner world and distort reality. The Bureau sent its strongest S-rank team to suppress it before it went on a rampage.

But after entering the inner world, they discovered that the so-called "Evil Seed" was just a scrawny little girl who couldn't get enough to eat.

Ruan Li eats a lot. After they brought her out of the inner world, the little girl could polish off an entire rice cooker in one sitting. The detector classified her as "ancestral-god-level," but nobody at the Bureau believed it. After all, she couldn't beat the logistics staff at arm wrestling or out-argue the receptionist.

Until one day, a containment object in the Bureau went out of control. All the combat personnel were out on assignment, leaving only elderly, weak, sick, and injured clerical staff behind.

Ruan Li burped and stepped in front of them.

They watched with their own eyes as the little girl took a sushi knife and effortlessly sliced the containment object in half.
