She carries the bloodline of Alfred’s daughter, who died while serving in MI5. Though she has the body of a nine-year-old girl, she has the little dreams to match. She wants to survive in this brutal universe and grow up all over again in this new world.

Luthor: You were originally just an energy being. I gave you life, so you’re my daughter. (Aka, you’re just an energy being anyone can use, but if I raise you, you’ll only listen to me. Aka, Luthor the divine child-deliverer.)

Bruce: You stole that energy being from Darkseid when I fought him. She belongs to our family. (Aka, the Batcave is big enough to fit plenty of kids.)

The Titans: At this rate, Robin will die alone.

Damian: I’m just used to being ahead of you all. (Aka, in everyone else’s eyes, she’s his childhood friend who suddenly appeared.)

Aglaea: If I’m going to date someone, Damian seems like the safer choice.

A theft case draws Red Robin’s attention back to a hidden corner of Gotham. The thief was the first one he encountered after making a choice about his life at thirteen. Her codename only existed in Gotham for a few years before she disappeared. He was the reason she disappeared.

That year, Batman was patrolling with his third Robin, the little bird, when they ran into Catwoman and the caramel-haired kitten behind her. Maybe they were imitating the adults, or maybe it was love at first sight. The two of them chased each other across Gotham’s skies. Everyone said she was his Catwoman, but what they didn’t know was that he and the caramel-haired kitten had started dating after they met. After a huge fight, the caramel-haired kitten ran away.

Jason, before he knew Tim well:

“Dickie Bird, why does that kid sometimes leave his bedroom door wide open and lie on his bed staring at the ceiling?”

“You can think of it as him reminiscing about his tragic teenage years. Don’t worry, Little Wing, he does this every two weeks. Just give him five minutes.”

“The world’s second-best detective is an emo boy? And he gets over it way too fast.”

“Oh, that’s not it. When the five minutes are up, he pulls up the security footage to personally watch his tragic youth.”

Catwoman looks at the clothes scattered all over the room. There are expensive suits as well as comfortable casual clothes. “Dear kitten, don’t tease him too much. That little bird has quite a vengeful streak.”

Viola uses a T-shirt to make a bed for the real cat. “It’s just a little prank. He can come catch me if he’s got what it takes.”

Bruce, that day: “Tim, I think I need to know why you’re sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee, wearing nothing but a tie and a pair of beach shorts.”

After seeing Tim break into a smile, he adds, “I’d rather not ask.”

2. A clever, mischievous kitten-thief who plays dirty x a resourceful genius Red Robin detective. Even after the heroine disappears, she continues working for Catwoman.

3. A sweet story with only a little angst, lighthearted in tone, though it might turn into a comedy.
