[One Piece] Falling in Love with Law

Holly suffers from several rare mental disorders.

Among the conditions currently known to affect her are dissociative disorder, Cotard's syndrome, and homicidal frenzy (Amok).

When an episode strikes, she suffers brief memory loss and loses the ability to distinguish and control her sense of self. Her identity lacks consistency across time and place, as well as continuity...

After waking up from her nth episode and finding herself cutting into her wrist, Holly decides to seek medical help so she can live a full life to its natural end.

But while searching for someone to consult, her personality suddenly switches, and she mistakes a pirate for her boyfriend. When she wakes up, Holly finds herself inexplicably rescued and brought aboard the Heart Pirates.

The infamous Surgeon of Death, Trafalgar Law, becomes her attending physician.

Holly: But aren't you a surgeon?

Law: Holly, you're talking too much.
