Ango Quits

Rogue School

Basically, just an adorable trio

One of the Few Series I’ve Fully Purchased After Years of Reading

I have no particular kinks, and I’m not into extreme stuff. I care most about the author’s character, then the humor and writing, then everything else. I don’t support made-up words, but I don’t read BL anymore either. Major turnoffs: Mao Xia Gui, especially YYM.

Bungo Stray Dogs Fanfiction

I mostly read male-led stories, but I can enjoy other kinds if the writing is good. I like characters who are complex and strong, with an appealing contrast between different sides of their personality. Bonus points if they occasionally show off and make me scream.

Fanfiction

Great crossover novels: anime, Marvel and DC, and wuxia

4. Read

Five-Star Picks 2.0 (Roast Edition)

I'm an omnivore and will read anything if the writing is good. Check for your own dealbreakers. (An addendum to version 1.0.)

Crossover Anime and Manga

Note: These are all fanworks, both based on individual series and crossovers. This is very subjective, and Detective Conan fanfiction makes up a large portion. I've been a little obsessed lately. Male protagonists with no romance, and stories focused on the bottom.

Fanfiction I Loved After Finishing, No Secret Identities

Anime and manga crossovers, Hunter x Hunter, Naruto, DC and Marvel, Harry Potter, sports anime, and more (???? Some have ships)

True Love

Each one has been reread at least three times, or not?? repeatedly??

Complete Anime Crossover Collection

A mixed bag of good reads. Recommended.

Anime and Manga Crossover 2

Clearing out my bookshelf. The ratings don’t reflect the actual scores.

Dazai Osamu Is Number One

For my own reference: stories about Zai, or no-CP stories I really like.

Fanfiction with No CP

No romance at all, no CP. Includes no-CP stories about individual characters, original characters, and cosplay transmigration. There are probably lots of unfinished ones here (sigh).

Derivatives I Like

Detective Conan, Bungou Stray Dogs, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Harry Potter. Mostly no romance, but I didn't like some of them that much. I'd already subscribed to quite a few, so I included them anyway.

My Favorite Crossover Anime

I can never get tired of crossover anime fanfiction.

A Few Derivative Works

A mix of all kinds of elements

Recommendations Based Entirely on Personal Taste

No GKS K, all sorts of stuff, mostly danmei recommendations, not many popular titles

Fanfics

I don’t know how to describe my tastes, but I like protagonists who get to shine… maybe. (I’ll add and remove titles from time to time.)

Anime and Manga Crossovers

Some anime crossovers I really love, mostly lighthearted, including a few older stories. Browse at your own risk.

May Our Love Carry Us Through the Long Years

Quick transmigration, infinite-flow, insect-people stories, Detective Conan fanfiction, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kuroko’s Basketball, Haikyu!!, The Prince of Tennis, Demon Slayer, Bungo Stray Dogs, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, and K (updated irregularly)

Reading Log

Contains major spoilers. No yuri, and no tragic, tempestuous romances. I’m open to everything else. I can’t stand protagonists who are constantly put through the wringer. I have lots of dealbreakers and don’t mince words, so steer clear if that bothers you.

Derivative Fiction: A Wide-Ranging, Entirely Subjective Selection

DC and Marvel, Bungo Stray Dogs, Detective Conan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Harry Potter, Limbus Company, FGO, Danganronpa, Touken Ranbu, and some other weird and wonderful fandoms.

Bungo Stray Dogs: Osamu Dazai and Those Irresistible Men

I'm a Dazai fan, and these ratings are based on my personal taste, not necessarily the quality of the writing. (There's a limit of 100 books, QQ, so I moved some to the list in the next section.)

A Bungou Stray Dogs Dazai Reading List (Mild to Moderate OOC)

My top-tier picks. No matter the star rating, these are books I personally think are worth reading. My reviews vary in length depending on how well I remember each one, and may include warnings.
