Bourbon in 'Pure Black'

“My lover is this organization.” “Get out of my organization, undercover agent.” The Interstellar Alliance observed a worldline completely ruled by Bourbon, the Great Demon King. Here, Zero had joined the organization as a child and become the thoroughly dark Bourbon, even seizing the Boss's position and becoming the leader of the Black Organization. They immediately dispatched a world-saving livestream System, bringing billions of viewers here to change Bourbon and save the world. Ten-year-old elementary school student Zero, who hadn't even joined the organization yet: “?” The livestream viewers, expecting to see the terrifying Great Demon King Bourbon: “???” P.S. 1. I've revised the blurb and outline many times. Due to the website's rules, Dark Toru won't be a villain. In other people's eyes, he'll even be a hero who saves the world. In another sense, Dark Toru considers his country his lover. He won't endanger society, and the world will remain peaceful and stable. It's an overwhelmingly happy ending. 2. This is a lighthearted, satisfying story, with no angst. 3. There are tons of personal headcanons. Please don't scrutinize them. This is a completely self-invented alternate timeline. And now, following the usual routine, here's a plug for my upcoming works: Original light novel: The Hero Stole My Demon Lord Position One day, my childhood friend and I were summoned to a sword-and-sorcery world. I was to become the Demon Lord, and he the Hero. The god said our personalities were perfectly suited to those roles. I agreed. I hated that kidnapper, but the casting made perfect sense. He, however, said nothing. In the final second before we transmigrated, he suddenly shoved me aside and entered the Demon Lord's summoning circle. He stole my position as Demon Lord. The god said I had no choice but to take his place as the Hero. Me: ? Me? Become the Hero? Are you serious??? Note: The main story is written in third person. -- Original danmei: The Most Popular Contest [Quick Transmigration] After Xie Xi died, he accidentally ended up in a terrifying infinite-loop world. At long last, he killed the main god and prepared to retire, only to be bound by a rookie, fan-favorite System on the first stop of his travels. The System begged and pleaded for him to join some grand event spanning the entire universe, a contest called Who Is the True Fan Favorite? It insisted that with him on their team, victory was guaranteed. The contest would select popular Hosts from countless universes. After a series of preliminary rounds, 100 Hosts would advance to the main competition. The contest would take place in some of the most famous, difficult-to-conquer worlds. The fan favorites would pursue the same group of people in the same world, competing to see who was the most popular true fan favorite. The competition had three rounds, each set in a world with an SSS danger rating. The whole event would be livestreamed, with billions of viewers across countless universes watching and voting. In the end, they would decide together who was the true fan favorite. In other words, contestants had to win over not only their targets, but also viewers across countless universes. Xie Xi thought it sounded interesting, so he joined as a rookie. Of course, he wasn't interested in pursuing anyone. He treated it as a little game to play after retirement. While the other fan-favorite Hosts schemed against each other and tried every trick to win over their targets, Xie Xi sat nearby with a thermos, sipping tea and watching the show. He turned down both the targets' attempts to pursue him and the other contestants' seductions. And then he won the fan-favorite contest. Xie Xi: “?” So this is what they mean by wanting what you can't have, right? [What does it mean to be a true fan favorite?] [Obviously, it's when even the other fan favorites fall for him and become completely lovestruck.] Theme: No matter where you are, work hard and take your responsibilities seriously.
