Ever Since I Fell Out of Meteor Street

Question: How do you adjust to life outside Meteor City? Taohui Li: Thanks for the question. I've lived in Meteor City for over a decade, and I'm currently in the Port Mafia. Once school starts, I'll be attending high school in Beika Town. Things seem a little off about this world, and I still have some physical issues to deal with, but thanks to the support of my boss, coworkers, classmates, and friends, I'm adjusting to life outside just fine. What? You want to know why someone from Meteor City who's barely literate is going to high school? ...Ask my fake friend, the Phantom Troupe's Spider Brain. He screwed me over even from another world. Thanks. Extended title: #Ever since I accidentally fell out of Meteor City, I've been living an ordinary life of working part-time and going to high school# #Maybe it's not that ordinary?# #Whatever, I'm off to memorize my textbook# Reader's Guide: 1. Chuuya is the love interest. 2. Lots of original settings (for example, the Hunter world uses Japanese, since the protagonist's already been forced to go to high school, making them learn to read all over again would be too cruel). Out-of-character behavior warning. 3. Enjoy the story! *The protagonist is not a typical Meteor City resident. The reason will gradually be revealed later. *My writing has some serious flaws, and the logic is a mess, so please don't scrutinize it. Thank you. Bows. -A preview of my upcoming story- "Dating a Coworker While Wearing a Secret Identity Is Bound to Cause Trouble" Jingshui You is an active Port Mafia employee. He's powerful, mysterious, and diligent and responsible at work. His one drawback is his difficult personality. He isn't very popular in the organization. He has a secret. He's dating Mr. Chuuya, an executive. Only, he's using another secret identity. - Mr. Chuuya is in a relationship. He thinks his partner, Jinye, is wonderful in every way, except that they're just a little dim. But isn't that a good thing? Why does anyone need to be so smart? His only worry is how to tell his lover that he's in the Mafia. After all, every time he tries to bring it up, his lover gets visibly uneasy. While drinking, he complains to a colleague. Jingshui You listens with a grave expression: ... - Later, Mr. Chuuya's relationship becomes public within the organization. Jingshui You goes about his day as an office drone, only belatedly realizing that he seems to have become even less popular. Then he overhears a conversation. "Have you heard? About Lord Nakahara..." "I have, I have. Lord Jing actually..." Actually what? Jingshui You's heart jolts. Could his secret identity have been exposed without his knowing? "Lord Jing actually became the other man and is trying to force Lord Nakahara's lover into a relationship!" ? What? #Has Mr. Jing's reputation improved today?# #Not even a little# Reader's Guide: 1. A sweet little romance. I thought it sounded fun, so I decided to write it. 2. A JOJO crossover. 4. Feel free to add it to your favorites! I know all too well how easily I get writer's block, so I'll have at least half the story written before I start posting. Once it begins, there won't be any hiatuses, so please enjoy without worry. Theme: Hardship makes people stronger, while love and bonds help them grow
