When Oda Sakunosuke Becomes the Fatui Doctor [Genshin Impact]

[Updated weekly, slow to fill in the gaps] [Next book: Isn't It Normal for the High-Cloud Quintet to Have Six People?! Pairing: Imbibitor Lunae. Blurb at the very end] Oda Sakunosuke, a former member of the Port Mafia, died in a friend's arms on a chaotic afternoon in Yokohama. He thought he had died long ago. Who could have guessed that when he opened his eyes again, he would find himself transmigrated to another world, with blue hair, a mask, and the codename Doctor? Oda Sakunosuke: Oh, damn. When he transmigrated, Oda Sakunosuke had a chainsaw in his left hand and a scalpel in his right. On the experimental table before him lay a bound purple-haired boy, staring at him with numb, hateful eyes. "Doctor..." the boy said calmly. "You crazy bastard, what are you planning to do this time?" Oda Sakunosuke, accused of being insane, fell silent for a moment. "Nothing," he said honestly, putting away the chainsaw, hiding the scalpel, and standing before the boy. "If I had to say..." Oda's System answered first: [Run! He wants to be your dad!] Doctor Dottore, the Fatui's Second Harbinger, a notorious mad scientist. ...Except someone transmigrated into him. . Dazai watched helplessly as his friend died in his arms. Overcome by pain and grief, he left the Port Mafia to atone for his sins. On the night he left Yokohama, he received an email from the dead. "Hello, it's Oda. I didn't actually die. A System has me pretending to be someone called Dottore. To secure the Fatui's grand ambitions for generations to come, I need your help..." Thinking it was a scam, Dazai casually replied, "Help with what? Why don't you keep making things up?" Then he saw the words "Typing..." appear on the other end. And received a close-up photo of a purple-haired boy, glaring defiantly and looking as unruly as could be. After a long pause, Oda slowly replied, "Sorry to trouble you, Dazai. Please look after the kid I just picked up. A-Mao is very well-behaved." Dazai: ... Dottore, sunny and cheerful (?), honest and upright (??), current principal of the Teyvat Kindergarten. ...And beloved by all. . [Next book: Isn't It Normal for the High-Cloud Quintet to Have Six People?! [Honkai: Star Rail], pairing: Imbibitor Lunae] Blurb: On my eighteenth birthday, I found a glowing egg by the roadside. Inspired by all those novels with their fantastical nonhuman pets, I diligently watered it and slept with it in my arms every night. I even told it stories, and tried everything from blood-bonding to shedding its shell and taking human form. Later, the egg cracked, and out crawled a long-tailed, horned... Person. Just kidding. Who wants to raise a person? Even after transmigrating, as a Teyvat native, I would never keep a human as a pet. My morals are impeccable! Just as I was preparing to sneak the child off to an orphanage, my master showed up. She said that the disciple of a renowned sword champion couldn't ruin her reputation, then grabbed my ear and told me to return the egg, I mean, the person born from a Vidyadhara egg. Then my esteemed master looked at the little dragon person clinging to me and refusing to leave. Silence. Her voice trembling, she said, "Disciple, I think we're about to get rich." "How did you kidnap the Vidyadhara's Dragon Lord?" Me: ? So it really is a dragon!! . After accidentally drifting through space, I crash-landed on the Xianzhou Luofu. Carrying on the Teyvat people's spirit, I set out to make my own way. After fighting across the universe, my friends and I gradually earned the title of the High-Cloud Quintet. I don't understand why we're called the Quintet when there are six of us. And I don't understand why everyone, despite living such good lives, insists on chasing after me after I leave the Xianzhou. I'm talking about you, Vidyadhara Dragon Lord Imbibitor Lunae! So what if I thought you were an egg and almost boiled you, trying to keep you warm? Why are you so petty, my friend? So when the little dragon person I had picked up, the one who had spent our youth with me, cornered me on the Astral Express and asked, "A century has passed. Why has the envoy still not returned to the Xianzhou?" I trembled, terrified. Caught.jpg Master, junior brother, and my good friends Brother Yingxing and Sister Fox, save me, save me! . Pairing: Imbibitor Lunae. The Dragon Lord shrinks due to an accident, but is an adult in mind, not actually a little dragon person. Jingliu's personality before becoming Mara-Struck is my own interpretation. I'll adjust it after she appears in the story. . Reading guide: 1. Oda is the fake principal, Dazai is the real mastermind, Ango is forever an overworked salaryman. Long live the friendship of the No Longer Human trio!! The fatherly friend and kid are both very OOC, so don't hesitate, run! 2. There is a pairing, but probably not (?). If there is one, it'll be Zhongli. You can enjoy this even if you haven't played the game. It barely touches the game's main story, and I'll try to keep things simple and straightforward. 9. An absurd number of headcanons. 7. Not friendly to the original Doctor. Dottore fans, please don't read. With a blurb like this, please don't ask me where Doctor is, okay? 4. Writing with wild abandon and unbridled enthusiasm. A rambling story about a father raising a kid, with the goal of making the rich furious. Theme: The meaning of being alive is to redeem yourself.
