You chat with them, they enjoy it, and their affection is supposed to go up, right? Every time I talk to you, you’re grinning like mad. We’ve been chatting for so long, and now you tell me you’re going to stay with Milan forever? What do you mean, you’re staying in Milan to forage for wild vegetables? What is that supposed to mean?! The player was confused. The player was stunned. The player was furious! In a fit of rage, the player chose to force the issue, left behind his assets, then stormed off. In his anger, he uninstalled the crappy pixel game with no proper publisher or support. The next day, however, the player woke up in a strange bed in a panic. He was told that his actions had made the NPCs so resentful that the whole game had broken down. The only way back to reality was to complete the entire collection, achieve a grand slam, and get AC Milan back to its peak. Thinking about what he’d done, the player nearly passed out. His list of despicable acts included, but wasn’t limited to “Rummaging through a trash can right in front of an NPC, then giving them the garbage as a present. When the NPC refused, rolling around on the ground.” “Telling an NPC a sob story: ‘You know, I’ve been in Milan since I was a little kid. I’ve been by your side since I was little,’ when actually he was just living out a fantasy.” “Taking advantage of his good looks to kiss a teammate on the field, then cheerfully going on and on about the kiss afterward.” “Running around like crazy until his stamina ran out, then blacking out in the game and having to sleep on the streets. His twisted sleeping pose made the front page of every newspaper.” “Every summer transfer window, starting rumors with all the big clubs as if he could sign a contract and leave at any second, only to then stroll around looking gorgeous and showing everyone he wasn’t for sale.” “Waltzing into an NPC’s house at one in the morning and plopping down to sleep beside them, then waking up the next day to see their affection rating swing wildly up and down.” The scariest part was that it was a no-name pixel game, so the player couldn’t tell the NPCs apart. After yet another night of getting up to practice his shots and running out of stamina, the player collapsed helplessly onto the bed. He thought bitterly that he would never play pirated games again, not in this life or the next!!! * 1. The whole story is lighthearted, with a morally chaotic but kind-hearted protagonist who loves a good laugh. The player’s journey is basically: Now that I’ve transmigrated into a game, I have to figure out why you all love AC Milan so much. What’s so great about this club? Wait, AC Milan really is pretty captivating. Fine, I’ll spend my whole life foraging for wild vegetables for AC Milan. 2. The romance is a tangled mess, with routes for Nesta, Maldini, Pirlo, and Redondo. The extras will have one-on-one romance routes with each of them. The player just wants to give everyone a home.
