[Football] Make Germany Great Again

Sorry TT

I've gradually lost my grip on the pacing, plot, and writing, so I'm pausing this story to make some adjustments. I'll restart it as a new novel based on the original outline. This one will remain as an alternate timeline, and I'll come back to update it after the other Siggy story is finished…

🥺🥺

Sigmund Ritter

The brightest star in German football, dazzling like a shooting star, but gone in the blink of an eye.

He brought Borussia Dortmund the crown of victory and lifted the World Cup trophy for Germany, driving countless fans wild. He was only nineteen that year, yet had already reached the pinnacle of European football.

People marveled at his terrifying talent, but mourned his fall all the same.

A sudden illness robbed him of his health, took away his right to keep playing, and tormented the young golden boy without end.

Standing before the mirror and staring at the unfamiliar face reflected there, Sigmund made a decision that would change the rest of his life.

If he could never play football again, he would rather die.

As his consciousness began to fade, an angel claiming to come from the future appeared before him.

“I will give you a healthy body. In return, you must bring me victory after victory.”

Sigmund didn't hesitate.

Klopp brought his most beloved protégé back to Anfield. Everyone thought he was crazy. No matter how brilliant Sigmund had once been, he was now just a half-crippled player who had been away from the pitch for years. How could he possibly bring the team victory?

Sigmund never bothered to answer with words. His absolute dominance shattered every prejudice.

Victory after victory, he broke through the opposition's defenses. Championship after championship, he became the very embodiment of triumph.

Countless people hated him. They hated how mercilessly he ruled the pitch like an emperor, his arrogance, and the way he always charged ahead without looking back.

Countless people loved him. They loved his blood-soaked devotion to football, his shining blond hair, and the way he brought home victory after victory as if it were nothing.

Sigmund, you are the brightest star in the German machine.

Hoeness regretted it. He regretted it so much. What kind of nonsense was this? I was only away for a few years, so how did the world end up like this? Sigmund should have been his, should have been a Bayern boy. There were bad people among the public who stole his beloved child right from under their noses. What's wrong with just wanting the kid to come home? Sigmund is one of our own, not some outsider!

Theme: An indomitable will forged into an unshakable faith in victory.
