This novel is complete. Check out my author profile for more! [Western Crossover] Gotham Simulator: I'm the Mayor: Legend has it that the Melle family built Gotham, and every Melle is born to be a mayor, just as their name suggests. But lately, no one knows what's gotten into the new mayor, Timmy Melle. She's become rough but efficient... In reality, Timmy Melle got into city-building games on a whim. Starting from her friend's save file, she continued developing Gotham City. Besides building roads, laying pipes, and running power lines, Timmy's biggest headache was that her citizens never stopped complaining or making demands! · For instance, a fugitive citizen named Joe Chill reported that his house had caught fire, but there wasn't a fire station nearby to put it out. He sent an urgent plea for help to city hall. Timmy simply dropped the burning house into the Gotham River, gave it a good rinse, then put it back. Timmy: Can you say the fire got put out or not? · One citizen complained that Gotham didn't have enough entertainment facilities. Even Gotham's richest man often had to go outside the city to do extreme sports. Timmy thought that was fair. With so many people dying in the city, the cemeteries couldn't keep up, so she built a crematorium theme park first. She set up four long rows of crematoriums, landscaped the grounds, built a few Russian-style giant swinging pendulums and drop towers, and added some photo-op spots. It was a surefire way to rake in money. Timmy: Can you say it isn't thrilling? . A citizen complained that the patients in the insane asylum had escaped again. They'd even brought their underlings along to shoot guns and set off bombs all over the place. Since the game had no feature for restricting guns, Timmy built toll booths at the entrances and exits outside Arkham Asylum, Gotham's famous landmark. Each time someone passed through, the toll booth charged four dollars. So Timmy built eight toll booths along the ring road, charging people eight times for one trip. Was thirty-two dollars enough? Of course not. Timmy copied and pasted the booths for a thousand rounds. Anyone who wanted to leave the asylum had to take that road, and each trip cost thirty-two thousand dollars. A round trip cost sixty-four thousand, and payment was mandatory. Timmy: So you have money for guns and bombs to escape the asylum? It's thirty-two thousand dollars per trip. Let's see if you can afford it! And then there was a citizen named Batman, who couldn't use the free government-employee route and, unlike everyone else, didn't try to stay away. He kept taking this road, bringing other Bats and asylum patients along with him. He made Gotham a fortune, pushing the numbers in Timmy's account to an extremely impressive level. From then on, he became Mayor Timmy's favorite Bat and received an award for being one of Gotham's finest citizens. . From the game to real life, Mayor Timmy has this to say: Urban planning isn't the main thing. Dealing with unruly citizens is what really matters~ Thanks to who for drawing the adorable Timmy character design~ Content note: This isn't really a fourth-wall-breaking disaster novel. Some readers may not like that the protagonist loses the ability to reload a save (looks away). If that's a dealbreaker, just click away. Enjoy the story~ And if you have questions, just tell me what needs changing. I don't think I'm all-knowing, deep, or a perfect writer.
