[Western Crossover] After Gotham’s Knights Rejected Me, I Married Brucey

Dr. Lily Parker, whose IQ is level 10 and EQ is level 0, has always thought everyone around her was ordinary. Her little brother Peter is just an ordinary high school student, Tim is just an ordinary student, and her boss Bruce is just an ordinary boss. Of course, she once had an utterly unremarkable crush, a long-lost first love who vanished without a word, and a current boyfriend she had only just started seeing. Her former crush was a weathered man who moved among Gotham's lower classes but had a strong sense of justice. His codename was Matches, and he earned one rejection of Lily achievement. Her lost first love was a righteous vigilante who never revealed his true face, also known as the Dark Knight. He earned two rejections of Lily achievements. Her current boyfriend was Gotham's sweetheart, Brucie. After love broke Lily's heart, she decided to find herself a pretty-faced, empty-headed, emotionally unavailable loser of a boyfriend. In the end, she discovered all three men were the same person. Lily: ... Gotham's Dark Knight: ... So Dr. Parker decided to let loose, leave Earth, and pursue a greater truth. Romance? Not happening. Boyfriends? Toss them out. Lily's mysterious and powerful father, who had finally found his daughter after all this time, nodded in approval. The first time the Gotham Knight saw Lily, she was collaborating with a mad scientist to study a new life-form. The second time the Gotham Knight saw Lily, she was trying to get little Brucie admitted to the hospital. The third time the Gotham Knight saw Lily, writhing, pitch-black tentacles were dancing behind her, making her look just like a female fiend about to destroy the world. The Knight: ... Later, the Knight decided tentacles were pretty appealing, too. [Reader's Guide] 1. The love interest is Batman. They fall in love while he switches between secret identities. It's sweet and silly. 2. Lily has a powerful golden finger, and the characters are out of character to varying degrees. The heroine grows over time, and she's a bit silly at first. 3. It crosses over with lots of great shows (actually, not that many: Stranger Things and The Big Bang Theory). You can follow along even if you haven't seen them, and the original shows' timelines don't play much of a role. Theme: Live well with hope in your heart.
