She hates being held like that!” Boothill kicked at him and took the little girl. “But honey, he’s not wrong.” Galaxy Rangers are the most romantic and darkest of guns and spears, carrying out the will of the Hunt. Luo Cheng was an Abomination of Abundance unlike any other. While his hated kin racked their brains trying to destroy the Xianzhou Alliance, Luo Cheng wrapped himself up like a mummy and slipped away from the group, then turned around and spat at the so-called “prophet” who was always conning people. He’d had enough. How could fighting and killing compare to the joy of travel? He didn’t want to be a Borisin anymore. He wanted to become a Nameless and travel! When he came to again, he realized that this little bird had landed somewhere it shouldn’t have. In the distance stood ornate buildings, and servants surrounded him nearby. The Galaxy person clutched himself, weak, pitiful, and helpless. Somehow, he had flown into the residence of a wealthy family in ancient times. Fortunately, they didn’t mistake him for a thief and beat him to death. From the snippets he overheard, the Galaxy person realized he’d transmigrated into a wuxia novel he’d read before abandoning it. Apparently, the story was full of outrageous twists in its later chapters, nobody but the protagonist and author ever got a satisfying outcome, and the villain was vicious, especially when it came to gouging out hearts and eyes. The Galaxy person clutched his trembling heart and comforted himself: it was fine, he’d stay clear of the Jianghu’s conflicts. Then he learned that the only reason he hadn’t been beaten to death was because he’d transmigrated as a mad young master with the same name in this wealthy household. Early in the novel, the author had the villain wipe out the entire family with a wave of his hand to show how vicious he was. The young master had offended the villain and had his heart and eyes gouged out. The Galaxy person: ... That scene was so vicious, it was the reason he’d abandoned the novel! Like a cornered beast, the Galaxy person paced around his room, then grabbed a small bundle and ran. He was going to cling to the protagonist and use the protagonist’s plot armor to save himself and his makeshift family! Compared to having his heart and eyes gouged out, what was so bad about entering the Jianghu? Stick with the protagonist and you’ll get to eat! Yaaah!
