Would a Young Man from Adlifenn Dream of the Aeon of Destruction?

(Revision in progress)

The universe has four paths leading to its demise, and today's ending confirmed one of the theories.

It met heat death.

All things returned to destruction, casting off their painted colors and returning to the smooth, primordial black.

Nanook, Aeon of Destruction, got what they wanted: they destroyed the universe.

Likewise, the Lord Ravager responsible for destroying [Destruction] fulfilled their duty.

Dawn pierced the Nihility God's chest, and Demigod's fury consumed them.

At the origin of all things, the Zero-er also fell to destruction.

When an Aeon dies, their unclaimed Path automatically falls to the person who has walked it the farthest.

The flames rose once more. The new Aeon of Destruction chose to perish, returning everything to the beginning.

Before this first and last Aeon reached the end of their Path, the surviving Aeon of Remembrance spoke slowly:

[Worthy savior, can you save this world again?]

[...Ah... Of course.]

Golden flames swept through the darkness, and the memories Fuli had preserved were hung upon the branches.

Memory reshaped the annihilated universe, filling it once more with brilliant colors.

[Well, that means the new world is complete, right?]

[Then it's time for me to embrace my own fate.]

Just before Dawn pierced the Aeon of Destruction again, the enormous tree trunk suddenly twisted. A train came roaring in, and the red-haired man hanging onto its front grinned happily:

[Hey! Want to join us?]

Before they could refuse, the train grabbed the Aeon of Destruction and refined them in an instant, then whisked them away as slick as you please.

The newly born universe: What the hell, how shameless can you be? That's my dad!!!

In the blink of an eye, Bai Heng, who'd been snatched away, stared at the familiar train decor and the two people in front of him who were clearly Aeons. His pupils shook: Where the hell have I been taken? Is this still my world?

Long, long afterward, Aha suddenly appeared with some major news.

Aha: There's a little punk on Yadlifen who looks a bit like you and has stepped onto the Path of Destruction. Congratulations! You've finally got your first Emanator in the universal sense!

Aha: Oh, right. That kid's name is Nanook.

Bai Heng, sitting across from them: ...

I'm so done. [image]

Theme: Keep looking ahead. Everything ends eventually.
