[Honkai: Star Rail] How a Xianzhou Native Builds an Unclaimed Wasteland Planet

After successfully passing the Xianzhou's coming-of-age exam at the age of two hundred, Fei Yue resolved to travel through space, admire the beauty of the cosmos, and explore the vast universe. But just after leaving the Xianzhou, she had an accident and was teleported to a desolate planet. To repair the signal transmitter and contact her home, Fei Yue had no choice but to do a little development on this desolate planet. Missing parts? Start by prospecting and mining, then forge them. Missing equipment? Start with blueprints, then build it. Missing experts in the field? A Stellaron Hunter skilled in forging and an outstanding graduate of the Bio-Engineering Department suddenly dropped from the sky... In any case, thanks for nature's generous gifts! Just as Fei Yue's development project on the desolate planet called Tsygonia was in full swing, employees of the largest commercial organization in the universe, the Interastral Peace Corporation, suddenly appeared. Through one of the company's employees, Fei Yue received some bad news. She'd thought she was playing the boss, but the planet's natives thought "boss" was another word for divine emissary. And the Xianzhou has a clear rule: Xianzhou natives are forbidden from acting as gods or divine emissaries in other civilizations. Just as Fei Yue realized she was getting farther and farther from passing the Xianzhou civil service exam, the employee told her the first piece of good news: the Interastral Peace Corporation could help her return to the Xianzhou and would vouch that she hadn't deliberately pretended to be a divine emissary. In return, the company wanted her to hand over the planet. Faced with a deal that seemed to promise a guaranteed profit, Fei Yue still remembers her answer. "No. I refuse." "I absolutely cannot let this planet become another shiny achievement on the resume of your adorable department head." "So please get lost!" - [So she developed technology on that desolate planet on a massive scale and advanced its civilization by three levels, all just to repair a signal transmitter?] Jing Yuan, general of the Xianzhou Luofu, commented online under his real name. #OurXianzhouReallyIsFullOfTalentedPeople# - Characters from Teyvat will appear, but in animal form. This story has lots of original interpretations, so please don't take things too seriously. For example, I couldn't find out whether Xianzhou natives would reject implanted memory beacons, so I've made them external instead. - Check out my upcoming Genshin Impact-only story, *[Genshin Impact] The Annoying Character Saves the World*. [Teyvat is going to be destroyed.] One day, while handling paperwork, Levi, a "new hire" in the Fatui logistics department, saw these words floating before his eyes. Levi thought he was hallucinating from working overtime for too long, until a second line appeared. [Only by becoming an annoying character can you save the world.] Annoying? Dizzy and bleary-eyed, Levi stared at the blue text and thought that sounded easy enough. He promptly rejected the Second Harbinger, Dottore's request to build a new experimental subject. A few days later, he saw that his annoyance points had actually increased. Not long after, he was rapidly promoted for rejecting a Harbinger's order. Years later, Levi, now head of the Fatui logistics department, could still remember the morning his superior had promoted him. His white-haired superior had told him with utter seriousness that he was the first employee in the department in nearly a century to dare reject a Harbinger's request. Levi was astonished. Had the Fatui become so overbearing in the few hundred years he'd been away? So he solemnly promised his superior that he'd keep up the good work. His superior thought Levi was just saying that, but Levi, the "new hire," was serious. In just a few years, Levi cut countless unjustifiable departmental expenses and rejected countless unreasonable requests. Whether it was a Harbinger or an ordinary soldier, if he refused their request, it wasn't getting approved. Perhaps it was this ruthless approach that made Levi's annoyance points accumulate steadily. But after he signed off on an expense request for the Eleventh Harbinger, Childe, to go on a secret mission to Liyue, he was surprised to discover that his accumulated annoyance points were rapidly disappearing. Levi was baffled. He had no idea what was happening until he opened the forum that had appeared after the System updated. [It's so satisfying to see a request for an unreasonable project get rejected when you're a wage slave.] [The people up top just move their mouths, while I run myself ragged!] [When can I get a boss like Levi?] [If Levi becomes playable, I'm going all in to get him!] Facing a screen full of praise, Levi fell silent. In some other world, it seemed he had become a popular character. Theme: Our goal is the stars and the sea
