Blurb: [No one among the gods could possibly fail to covet a seat among The Seven, yet the limits of a god are so arrogant, while the brief flame of human life burns so brilliantly.]
What kind of outcome could possibly be worthy of such suffering? Azimio, God of Lava and Memory
…
[Natlan, two thousand years ago]
Azimio was the only surviving god in Natlan willing to protect humanity. The God of Lava and Memory, he was born when a primordial fragment fell into Natlan's phlogiston magma. A natural-born god, he possessed knowledge from the moment of his birth.
Ever since he chose to accept some humans, intending to claim the seat of the Pyro Archon, Azimio had been prepared for the possibility that he would betray humanity, or that humanity would betray him.
To get closer to human society, he created a separate body to gather information as a "human."
The dragon next door, who kept courting disaster, had a strange interest in humans.
The other tribes of Natlan banded together to wage war on the Dragon King.
Humans needed to eat three good meals a day.
A human named Xbalanque once struck a deal with him, borrowing his authority to make memory a medium of life and using the power of the heavens to create a Resurrection Verse.
Fine. Considering how much he had benefited from Xbalanque, and given the price he had paid, Azimio would put up with it for the sake of the Pyro Dragon King's power.
Until, at the very end of the deal, the complexity of human nature astonished him.
Azimio was forced to willingly give up his authority. He turned and left with his "followers." [Xbalanque, you deceived me.]
When the next wave of rebellion rose, the position of Pyro Archon was within his grasp, but it no longer meant anything.
If staying would make you suffer, then leave, our god.
[Lost in the rainforest for decades]
The Abyss continued to erupt in Natlan. Azimio used his homeland, most of his body, and much of his power to build a firewall. His followers were all scattered. When his last friend departed, Azimio decided to heed the advice of an old friend and send his other body to see the other nations.
He ran into the God of Flowers, and a hundred blossoms burst into bloom.
Azimio: What the heck! Achoo! Wait, stay away from me. It seems my human body is allergic to rainforest plants!
The God of Flowers: ? This seems to be a god, but also seems to be a person. I can't tell. I'll go take a closer look.
Azimio immediately turned and ran, then got lost in the rainforest. Somehow he ended up in the desert, where he witnessed a very troubling deal.
In the end, he managed to ask a god with a normal level of intelligence for directions and finally left Sumeru.
The [God of Wisdom], believed to be intelligent and capable of understanding human speech.
Greater Lord Rukkhadevata: ?
[Arriving in Liyue, roasting half of Osial from the start]
Azimio and the humans traveling with him were incredibly unlucky on their voyage from Sumeru to Liyue.
Just as Liyue Harbor came into view, the sky suddenly filled with dark clouds, and the sea began to boil.
One phantom after another surged through the water toward the harbor. The ground was covered in slime, and a gigantic wave whirled into a vortex not far from them. The culprit... was right in the middle of it.
Azimio: What the heck! There's a submarine volcano right under that vortex. Let's see if roasting it with magma works.
Osial, who was driving the seawater to flood Liyue Harbor: What's going on? Why is it getting hot under my butt?
After coming ashore, he ran into a local Geo god.
To show his goodwill, Azimio handed him a platter of grilled seafood. "Want some? Just finished grilling it."
Morax, who had been disgusted by seafood for a long time: No... thank you.

Reader's Guide:
1. OOC warning. I'll do my best to preserve the characters' personalities from the game, but the timeline and setting will inevitably be changed.
2. If you don't like a particular plot point, please skip it. Don't force yourself to read. The Natlan section can be a little frustrating. I wanted to portray the complexity of human nature, but the result may not have been entirely successful. The later nations are more peaceful and fun.
3. No romance. I'll try to show how complex everyone in the story is.
4. To be decided.

[Genshin Impact] Talents Emigrating from Snezhnaya
Everyone knows that most of the Harbingers in Snezhnaya are foreigners, so the country pays close attention to the outflow of its own talent.
Everyone with a Vision is on the Mayor Rooster's list, and receives regular subsidies.
Whether those are talent subsidies or surveillance is anyone's guess.
Bradley Nelson is a professional hunter from Snezhnaya with a Cryo Vision. He spent three days and three nights lying in wait in the snowy wilderness without encountering any prey he liked. When he came back, the children pushed him onto the campaign trail for the position of Harbinger.
As a candidate elected by the people, he stood among the Fatui soldiers to compete with them for the Eleventh Harbinger seat.
Nelson: I really don't want to be a Harbinger. My coworkers don't look easy to get along with.
He'd wanted to withdraw, but discovered that being caught shirking would mean a fine. So, unwilling as he was, he fought all the way to the final match, hoping for a strong opponent who would beat him and send him home.
Everyone in Snezhnaya wants to become a Harbinger. He's an odd one out, but he somehow fought his way to the finals just to avoid a fine.
His opponent was Ajax, a battle maniac who had risen through the ranks of the Fatui. Nelson had heard a thing or two about him.
Another blade of the Tsaritsa, personally nominated by Mayor Rooster. The Eleventh seat seemed to have been made for him.
If Nelson had been facing anyone else, he could probably have gone along with the act and let them win so he could go home. But his opponent was a battle maniac. The moment Nelson showed any sign of holding back, Ajax would really try to slice his neck with those twin blades, ahhh!
Nelson: I want to run away so badly. I'd rather freeze in the forest for two more days.
At long last, he lost the match and happily went home, only to be sent on a mission abroad to relax. Then Mayor Rooster rewarded him with a Delusion and told him it would be best to carry it with him. What was that about?
Nelson: A reward is a reward, but I have a Cryo Vision already. Why give me a Cryo Delusion? Couldn't you have found a more tactful way to put it!
[Honkai: Star Rail] The Retirement Life of a Lord Ravager
An Emanator serving the Aeon of Destruction is also known as a Lord Ravager.
Among the many Lord Ravagers, Ruin is the Destroyer of Elation, the Swordtip of the Void is the Destroyer of Nihility, and Starcrusher is considered the Destroyer of Harmony... The others each have their own corresponding paths.
But when the Aeon they had their sights set on has already perished, how will a Lord Ravager without a target carry out his destruction?
As for the answer, Herta, Member #83 of the Genius Society, once made a statement no one understood.
[With nothing left to destroy, what else can you do but retire?]
No one believed what she said. Everyone thought it was just a whimsy of the genius. But they all forgot that Herta had made a declarative statement, and that she, who was immersed in knowledge, never joked.
…
A silver-haired, red-eyed man aboard the Astral Express and Welt were up to no good with the Conductor, Pom-Pom.
Welt: Conductor, try this last one on. It's got a mecha style.
He held a miniature mecha outfit in his hands. It was obvious from its size that there was only one person aboard the train who could wear it.
Pom-Pom glared at them. "Dust Passenger, Welt Passenger, that's enough! This is the last outfit. I'm not changing again. I'm a very busy Pom-Pom!"
The man called Dust wasn't the slightest bit intimidated by Pom-Pom's anger. His red eyes were full of interest. "Conductor, this is a miniature mecha I made just for you. It's got all sorts of functions, and to fit our pioneering spirit, I even added a short-range warp function."
As he explained, Dust quickly slipped the "new clothes" onto Pom-Pom. The fluffy Conductor suddenly had a whole new look.
Dust: Pfft! Hahahaha!
Welt: It fits perfectly, doesn't it? Dust, could you make one for me too?
Dust: Sure, but I might not have enough parts. I'll see if there are any train parts we don't need and take them apart to use.
Pom-Pom, struggling inside the mecha, was furious. "Let me go, Pom-Pom! And don't you dare mess with the train parts again!"
Dust: Hahahaha! Did you hear that, Welt? It's not that I won't make one for you.
Another energetic day aboard the Astral Express. The one making Pom-Pom angry is called Dust, currently hiding his identity on the other side's turf and enjoying a pleasant retirement.
All the Nameless who knew me are dead, so it won't be awkward if I try being a Nameless myself.
As the first Lord Ravager handpicked by Nanook, he was once a comrade who fought alongside him, from the same star system, Adlivun.
Akivili, the Aeon of Trailblaze. I once resolved to bring destruction to them.
But after the Aeon I had set my sights on disappeared, I no longer felt any desire to destroy. Even Aeons meet their end as time passes. What meaning was there in the destruction I brought them?
Retirement is better. Teasing the Conductor and Little March whenever I have nothing to do makes for a pretty good life.
