Whose Precious Boy Are You, Anyway?

[Completed. My next upcoming romance novel is “What Should I Do About My Boyfriend’s Love-Brain?” Add it to your favorites in my author’s column~] After his younger cousin had complained countless times about how bad he was at video games, Makino Yuji finally protested. She promised, “If you can clear this full-dive romance game I’m playing faster than I can, I’ll stop making fun of how terrible you are.” Makino Yuji thought, Are you kidding me? I’m a grown man. What am I doing playing a romance game aimed at women?! But his cousin explained that clearing the game also meant winning over the characters and making them admire you and genuinely acknowledge your achievements, or making them hate you so much they’d rather die alongside you. Makino Yuji thought it over for a while, then confidently agreed. When creating his character and choosing a background, he, a pure-blooded straight guy who had only ever watched Naruto, resolutely chose the bloodline-inheritance approach. He figured that if he inherited the powers of the strongest person in the game and the intelligence of the smartest, he’d be unstoppable. Surely getting people to admire him would be a piece of cake! And so, The double black of the Port Mafia got a same-age son, The hard-working distillery employee and the undercover Public Security agent gained a beloved son, Bourbon and Scotch stayed up all night studying parenting guides, The Six Eyes heir and his best friend from Jujutsu High were denounced as scumbags by everyone, And all was well, all was well! Makino Yuji had been having a blast, right up until all his fake dads cornered him against a wall and ground out, “Which one of us is your real dad?!” Only then did he realize something seemed off about this bloodline-based approach. Wasn’t the deal that they’d provide the genes but wouldn’t raise the kid?! Why did they actually want to be his dads?! *Comedy √ everyone’s favorite √ bizarre romantic rivalry √ characters getting tormented √ loving father and filial son (emphasis on it) √ * [Important]: This story does not pair any original characters from the source works. There are no romantic feelings between the several men who are unwillingly playing dads. Please don’t bring up unrelated ships like these in the comments. *Blurb written on June 11, 2022, and saved as a screenshot. Recommending my own upcoming story↓↓ “What Should I Do About My Boyfriend’s Love-Brain?” After the person I fell in love with at first sight rejected me without mercy, I was drowning my sorrows late at night over a first love that had ended before it could even begin. Then I ran into the man who had rejected me again. He’d completely changed his cold attitude from earlier that day. His face was full of concern and inexplicable warmth. He sincerely apologized and told me that earlier, a slug had kicked his brain in, and he had only just recovered. Me: ? You really didn’t have to. Also, what kind of slug can kick someone? He politely asked if I’d give him another chance to pursue me. Completely baffled, I turned him down. It wasn’t that I could immediately become indifferent to a face so devastatingly beautiful, but I just couldn’t accept that my future boyfriend might have a split personality, sweetly treating me one second and acting like I didn’t exist the next. He listened carefully to my reasons for rejecting him, then calmly told me it was no big deal. He just had to brainwash his other self. Me: ??? * 1. Based solely on Bungo Stray Dogs, with a pairing of Boss Dazai. Includes romantic rivalry between different versions of Dazai. 2. A wish-fulfillment story: sweet, sweet, sweet, with a slice-of-life feel. 3. The scene described in the blurb happens because one Dazai transmigrates into another Dazai’s body. (doge) One of the male leads falls for him from the start. 4. OOC warning. Lots of headcanons, and the plot is heavily rewritten. 5. I’m so itchy, I think a love-brain is growing. Let me write a sweet romance to scratch that itch. Theme: Love and responsibility are both essential
