The Scumbag Boss Calls Me an Expert

[Synopsis captured on September 29, 2021] [Same female lead as the ongoing serial in the author's column, My Childhood Friend Can't Possibly Be Boss Dazai, but in a different timeline] You had just graduated from college when a friend recommended a job supposedly offering high pay, great benefits, little work, and a position everyone else was fighting tooth and nail to get. The only catch was that, to get hired, you first had to pass an in-house assessment set at hellish difficulty. Your friend swore up and down that the exam was just a formality. No written test or interview required: all you had to do was pass a virtual reality simulation game in which you manage Tokyo as its mayor. Thinking, What a great deal, you happily headed over at once. Then, You stared at the line of people in front of you, each with [Loyalty: 0] floating over their head and claiming they were there to lend a hand, and fell into deep thought. You'd originally planned to fire all these good-for-nothings to cut costs. But just then, the System suddenly informed you that you could borrow any subordinate's abilities for an extended period. How much you could borrow depended on their loyalty. At zero loyalty, you could only borrow 50 percent, but you got to choose which 50 percent. You thought it over for a moment. When you spotted the name Kibutsuji Muzan among your subordinates, you immediately decided to disable the exit button and make your zero-loyalty subordinates do triathlons, Olympiad math, logic puzzles, and brutal cross-country training every day... If you can work them without killing them, work them to death. A 996 schedule is a blessing! Don't like it? Go ahead and try quitting! Finished training? Then it's time to catch Poké... I mean, recruit new subordinates! The unlucky... I mean, lucky subordinates include, but aren't limited to: A certain white-haired jujutsu sorcerer A certain black-haired jujutsu sorcerer A certain jujutsu sorcerer bound by a heavenly restriction A certain black-haired bandage-wearing □□ A certain blond undercover agent *Also known as The Tyrannical Mayor Has Set His Sights on Me: 996, and Still Working 996 Today. The female lead has no feelings and lives for exams. Maximum wish fulfillment. *A silly comedy, extremely silly. Don't take it too seriously. *OOC warning, mountains of headcanons, heavily altered plot, all made up. Theme: Become a better version of yourself.
