What Could a Little Cat Possibly Do Wrong?

[Now that I've finished raising a kid, it's time to raise a cat] [Blurb written on 2022.08.11] After working around the clock for days, Kuyu Yumi collapsed face-first onto his desk. When he woke up again, he had turned into a little orange cat with a System of his own. The System explained that his pet orange cat had seen how exhausted he was from working around the clock every day, so it had prayed to Cat Star, hoping to give its human a dreamlike vacation as a cat. Staring in shock at the barren land before him, strewn with jagged rocks and overgrown with weeds, Kuyu Yumi slowly typed out a question mark. "Seriously? How is this any better? I've just gone from working around the clock one way to working around the clock another way! Is this really Stardew Valley, except I'm the cat? So you're telling me I'm the one who has to swing the hoe and farm?" The System hurried to explain that it was an exceptionally cat-friendly System. Since Kuyu Yumi was a cat now, naturally he wouldn't have to farm himself! All he had to do was win the hearts of certain humans in the world outside the System, making them so lovesick over their cat that they couldn't eat or sleep. Once their emotions built up enough, he could summon their inner selves into the System's world, where they would become cats who could help him with the work! What's more, the stronger their emotions, the smarter the summoned cat avatars would be. In the end, he could have his paws completely free! He could also unlock new cat skins and skills, and even clear dungeons! Kuyu Yumi pondered for a moment. "Do negative emotions count, too?" The naive System replied, "Of course!" And so, from then on: Some black-mud gremlin: Thanks for asking. Ever since I got a cat, my back aches every day. It's like the cat beats me up daily :) The unnamed Mori boss: I've been trying to balance work and rest, so why does it still feel like I'm working around the clock even after I clock out...? The five members of the police academy group: I don't know why, but lately I've been having dreams about farming all night... Must be my imagination, right? * Bratty cat √ Goofy √ Beloved by all √ Weird love triangle between cat owners √ Getting picked on √ * The cat is a brat, an absolute brat. It's brattier than Gojo Satoru, and the victims aren't limited to the people mentioned in the blurb. * The protagonist remains a cat throughout the main story, but turns human in the extras. Premise: Love and responsibility are both essential.
