The World's Biggest Scallion Is... Me?!

[Updates will be taking a break for now. I’ll update irregularly for a while, then slowly come back to it, qwq. Updates at 18:00.] [7/19 Addendum: I explained the situation with this story before, but the leave notice expired and disappeared automatically. I thought it would renew automatically if I didn’t cancel my leave, but it just vanished instead ( ). This story is made up of a series of little episodic arcs. All the most important foreshadowing was resolved in the previous arc, including A Sun and A Huai’s supernatural abilities. There are no loose ends, and all that’s left is an incident for the finale. When I wrote this, I actually chose the approach that was hardest for me. I’m not trying to make excuses: a group transmigration story with a plot-driven narrative really is hard to write. The transition from my first book to my second was incredibly painful. Going from first person to third person, and from a romance-focused story to a plot-focused one, was a huge leap. Sometimes I’d sit in front of the computer for two hours and still not manage to write a few hundred words. I overestimated my abilities, and I’m sorry. To explain things, I’m genuinely exhausted. It’s not just that I can’t write; I’m struggling with my state of mind, too. But I don’t like pouring out my negativity in author’s notes, so I’ve never mentioned it before. This is all on me. I’m sorry to have let you down. I need some time to get my head straight, and to think about how to write the finale. Lastly, if this story hasn’t updated in three months, I’ll definitely unlock it. I won’t keep you waiting while the chapters remain locked. At least I have that much sense of responsibility.] For your final exams, if your project and those of your friends are all about transmigrating to another world and working together to become the world’s top experts in your respective fields, what would you choose to do? You: Let’s be real, there’s no way I’m taking exams seriously. I’m in my twenties, so why not just bluff my way through Some golden-haired fake: This person is unfathomable, and has close ties with the upper ranks of many other organizations. They’re likely connected to the Black Organization in a much deeper way. Maybe they’re one of the masterminds controlling it from behind the scenes. You: ? You: Okay, how about I make a secret identity with a grudge against the Organization, then work with everyone else to take it down bit by bit Some black-haired guy with bandages: So, you’re saying you have ambitions to take over the Organization? You: ? [Starts sucking on oxygen.jpg] [System chat group:] Lin Sun: I only wanted to bluff my way through the exam at first. How did things end up like this?? I’m not the leader of some secret organization, and I’m definitely not hatching some grand scheme to take over the liquor factory! Can you guys clear this up for me?? Classmate A, who drew a fake-liquor-factory identity card: Maybe it’s because you’re a menace, Boss. Classmate B, who became a world-famous fortune teller through sheer verbal dexterity: It’s definitely because you’re a menace, Boss. Classmate C, a core member of the Decay of the Angel: Same as above. Lin Sun: ?? [Just wait till I get out, I’m gonna kill you all.jpg] * 1. Third-person narration, group transmigration and Fourth Calamity, a bking protagonist, and a goofy comedy. The female lead really is the world’s biggest menace; she even screws herself over when she gets going! 2. Detective Conan + Bungo Stray Dogs. The entire Police Academy group survives. The focus is on the main plot and various original cases. The female lead is either causing trouble or on her way to cause trouble, and manages to fall in love along the way. Pairing: Dazai Osamu. 3. OOC warning, heaps of headcanon, and a heavily altered plot. Promoting my original upcoming story~ I Got Rewound by the BOSS [Cyberpunk] [Synopsis screenshotted on 2022.04.09] The unserious version: When I opened my eyes in the darkness, someone suddenly grabbed me from behind and held me tight. In a voice choked with tears, he whispered in my ear that he was my lover from a previous life, a devout believer who had followed me to the ends of the world. He was strikingly handsome, his dark eyes rippling with the gentleness of a clear spring. His voice flowed slowly, like music from the strings of an instrument. I was deeply moved, but there was one little problem. I’d only just entered this world, and the body I was in had been created by the System a few minutes ago... So where exactly was this past life of mine? Did you fall in love with my cells or something? And that wasn’t all. The System helpfully informed me that he’d only told half a lie. That made things a little more serious, because if it wasn’t a case of [past lives], then the only other possibility was... [a rewind]. And yet, in the middle of all this, people were spamming my screen with things like [She’s already giving herself away at the start, charge in!] Are you people serious? I don’t even know if this guy is carbon-based life yet!! The serious version: In 3031, the World Online game officially went on sale. Unlike every other game, it wasn’t made to entertain humanity. It was made for... [humanity’s survival]. This game holds too many secrets, but one thing is certain: in this world, everything else is inferior. Only truly godlike players stand above all. Are you willing to shoulder humanity’s hopes and defy a fate that is destined to disappear without a trace? Are you willing to face one near-death ordeal after another, just to protect a tiny flame flickering in the snowstorm? Are you willing, to become the next legend? Of course, that’s all a dream for the future. Right now, the most important thing for Lin Shuying is figuring out how to escape the people hunting her in the game with her newbie account. Heavy weapons, symbols of absolute firepower, are aimed in her direction. The scumbag who was professing his love to her a second ago is now softly asking if she wants to make a deal, all beneath the System’s huge, bold red warning. With the whole screen filled with comments saying [First time I’ve seen a streamer get such a hellish start. Is this the limit of an African’s bad luck? I love it!], Lin Shuying says under enormous pressure: I don’t think this is gonna work!! *Third-person narration, comments, group transmigration and Fourth Calamity, coming-of-age, serious tone, power fantasy. The female lead is beautiful, powerful, and goofy. *Features supernatural powers and is mainly cyberpunk, with some Lovecraftian elements. *See the synopsis for the male lead. He is not carbon-based, in every sense, including his way of thinking. Whether they love each other is uncertain, but they’ll definitely be trying to kill each other. There is one-sided love. Theme: The road to success is always arduous.
