[About the beautiful, powerful, tragic white moons: getting laid off (dying) and reemployed (as divine weapons)]

[Blurb]

One day, a recruitment notice appeared outside Inari shrines across the country. Only spirits and humans with special abilities could see it.

[Inari Group Is Hiring]

The Inari Group, with more shrines than any other godly organization in the country, is hiring!

We urgently need spirits from all walks of life, both literary and martial.

Our benefits include: a luxury home in Takamagahara, available for immediate occupancy; official divine weapon identification; comprehensive insurance and housing fund; flexible hours; occasional group trips; a company cafeteria no god can rival; and branches throughout the country. We are hiring talented people in every field. Interested spirits can apply at any branch.

Note 1: The living can work part-time. Join now, and you'll count as a veteran employee after death, whether or not you remember this life.

Note 2: We urgently need talent, but muddy, obsessive types need not apply.

[Handwritten] Note 3: Any [illegible] behavior in front of the young chief god is prohibited.

The founder of a certain Sun Breathing style: Lord Uka is right.

A certain giant owl's younger brother: This summer, we'll get to eat apricots grown by Lord Uka.

A certain max-social-skills racing driver: When will my little brothers start calling me big brother?

A certain red-haired blade producer: The Inari Group even helps raise kids. The benefits are great. I really love it here.

A certain former black-haired cult leader: There are no monkeys or pure love at the Inari Group. I'm doing just fine, so don't worry.

A certain black-haired man with curls: Thanks. I'm doing great quitting smoking. Can't let the kids breathe secondhand smoke.

A certain brown-haired fake priest: Just how much can Lord Uka eat...?

※Please don't judge the conduct of gods by human standards. Divinity is often merciless. The protagonist isn't a saintly god who neglects her actual duties (agriculture, commerce, and industry) to run around saving people.

※The gods in this story were born in either the Age of the Gods or the Age of Man. The former were born of gods, not human wishes, and therefore don't need faith to survive. Faith only affects their strength.

※In this story, humans and most gods are independent beings. Faith is essentially a transaction.

※Core idea: Only humans can save humanity.
