He has yet to sort out the situation in his own world, but now he has to personally take the stage as the Mafia boss in parallel worlds. Sometimes he even has to work with his colleagues in those worlds to find a way to make them into competent bosses. Yet every time he finishes a mission, the System gives him an S rating for his romance storyline, even though he thinks he's been focusing on his career. Takano Higan thinks the System is making things difficult for him. He just can't help being a little nicer to people who look like his colleagues and superiors! The System gazes at its Host with the concern one might show a fool. "Get a grip. Have you sorted out the love triangle in your own world yet?" Only when the facts hit him square in the face does Takano Higan realize that something about this plot is a little off... #I only meant to put on a secret identity and follow a script, so how did I inexplicably become the beloved of all those Port Mafia bosses on different story routes? No-couple fanwork: Always Mistaken for a Beautiful, Strong Tragic Character on the App, originally titled I Got the Detective App and Tore Up the Script] After transmigrating, Aoniao Shou gets a linked app called the Detective App. The app comes with features like detective games and a research forum for the detective world. The characters in the app's detective-themed Mario game are actually his classmates. The options in its detective-themed virtual pet game even include a certain hard-working whiskey distillery employee, and even Angry Birds has turned into an all-out battle between the red and black sides. He thought the app was just for casual games, but then the app System tells Aoniao Shou that if he completes missions in the detective world and a topic about him tops the final vote, he can earn a reward that will bring him back to life for good. To survive, Aoniao Shou puts on his secret identities and works himself to the bone. His dear friends from the police academy class disappeared in the winter of their first year, becoming a ray of sunlight from the past that he could never touch again. The top mind manipulator, Granvitte, ultimately dies because of the sorrowful nature of humanity. The most deranged undercover agent in the distillery gives everything to protect justice, never seeing the dawn he brought about with his own hands. Before anyone knows these three are all Aoniao Shou's secret identities, the forum is stunned by the newly released alternate-timeline manga. [Forum: I have every reason to suspect that Shou and Granvitte both died at the hands of Usuo. Sob! Give me back these two favorites, you lunatic! How did this bastard Usuo expose everyone's secret identities? How could Toru's real name be said in front of Gin? With the way Usuo looks like he's enjoying himself while controlling everything, it's hard not to wonder if he's connected to the distillery's boss! Someone on their second read-through, just quietly dropping by to say: all those things you're saying about this bastard now will come back to haunt you later... ?!! What... do you mean by that?!] Aoniao Shou successfully piled up misunderstandings and tragic-beautiful-and-strong character labels until they filled countless forum threads, and the votes kept climbing. Just when he was starting to breathe easy, he got a private message from the app. [Following the official vote, the topics #Distillery Boss Usuo# and #Hope Aoniao Shou Comes Back to Life: Check In Every Day# have both met the requirements for fulfillment. App holder, please prepare, ] Aoniao Shou: Wait, both at once?! You have to be kidding! He didn't want everyone to misunderstand him that much! The blurb has been screenshotted and saved.
