Tweeting into Disgrace

[Upcoming Crossover anime fic: The Source of My Ability Is The Tale of Genji [Crossover]. Please add it to your favorites!] [Complete, ready to enjoy!] Boss Hong is the owner of Enma-tei. She's an all-rounder at customer service, a master swordswoman, and especially effective against evil. Along with her sparrow employees, she diligently serves guests from three thousand worlds. Recently, Boss Hong has kept finding strange little chirpers around Enma-tei. One is fluffy and white, with an upside-down crown beneath its eyes. One has a cowlick, hates the sun, and eats a ton. Another has rainbow-colored, sparkly Mary Sue eyes... After causing a ruckus at first, every one of these chirpers was ruthlessly subdued by Boss Hong and (forcibly) put to work doing chores around Enma-tei. They might wipe their faces on the floor, scare the guests, and fail to perch steadily on their poles, but they're all good little chirpers! The last chirper, though, was downright baffling. This one had black feathers, a beige belly, and a piece of bandage dragging behind it. It was gloomy and lazy, often sitting by the river, either attempting to drown itself or moping about it. “Not working... not working... You can beat me to death, but I'm not working...” “Double suicide, chirp... double suicide, chirp... Boss, come die with me, chirp...” Boss Hong: “...” The sparrow of Enma-tei, clad in three-colored feathers, slowly drew her sword. A chirper unfit for society? Cut it down! [A few things to note] 1. The protagonist is genderbent. She's the tongue-cut sparrow from the folktale, with absurdly high strength and top-tier swordsmanship. She has trouble speaking and ends her sentences with “chirp.” 2. Lots of headcanon! Lots of headcanon! 3. All kinds of chirpers will appear. Which cutie will we turn into a chirper today? 4. Different worlds have different stores. Enma-tei has branches everywhere. 5. The CP is in the title. [This story will go premium on Wednesday, August 12. A 10,000-word update will be released that day. Thanks for your support, chirp!] Check out my upcoming Crossover fic, The Source of My Ability Is The Tale of Genji [Crossover]. The characters look absolutely stunning! Mr. Mori has had something on his mind lately. Yugiri Minamoto, the curse-killing sorcerer with a fearsome reputation in the Port Mafia and a candidate for an executive position, recently became a gloomy idol sensation across the country during a mission. Now, it seems, all kinds of factions have taken an interest in him. Saotome Academy: He has what it takes to become a global star! His fans will all be eager to save him! A certain Jujutsu Technical School: A curse-killing sorcerer? Shouldn't he be one of our students? Participants in the Fourth Holy Grail War: He's a Caster, a pseudo-servant of Murasaki Shikibu, and the ultimate winner. Those weren't the real problem. They were from other fields, after all. What really gave Mr. Mori a headache, and nearly made him lose his hair, was the competition from a fellow organization, the one named after a certain aquatic creature... Tiny Baby in a Black Hat: “We checked, and Yugiri-kun sends 80% of his salary to Namimori every month. Our Cloud Guardian's company is deeply indebted to him.” Mr. Mori: “...” Yugiri-kun, are you using your Port Mafia salary to support another company??? Theme: Work creates value, and hard work leads to prosperity!
