13 Days, 5 hours and 38 minutes, interspersed with two apps, I finally finished reading this book recommended by my sister. Because the length is really not short, there were a few moments in the middle where I felt like I had completed a task, but I couldn't give up because it was so interesting. It is not so much psychology. In fact, the overall style of writing is a bit like that of a documentary novel. The author records the humor of each person he talks to. In fact, it is my delicate mind that can capture these qualities. But I really want to complain because the whole thing is recorded in chronological order. It's not divided into units based on people. I was very insensitive to foreign names in the early stage and I really confused everyone. I really had to devote 12% of my concentration. The further I read, I basically ignored the names and relied solely on events to distinguish them. The image of each visitor became more and more vivid in my mind. It would definitely be great if I had the opportunity to read it in one sitting. Let's talk about the psychology part. Just as the author, who is a counselor himself, also needs to seek psychological treatment, everyone needs a suitable emotional outlet. When reading this book, I was also healed by some of the same views and different opinions. Through some novel theoretical knowledge, I think this book is suitable for people to read in any situation. It should also be read out and re-read occasionally as the mood changes. At least during these five and a half hours, I was calm and not tangled. I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression in the hospital a few days ago. I still remember saying to the doctor at the time: "In the past few times, whenever I realized that I was in a very bad emotional state for a long time, I would find something to do for myself and learn new skills. Just immersing myself in it seemed to relieve my mood. This time, I have been as usual in the past few months. I don't know what I can do to change my focus. I can't bear the ups and downs. I might as well be depressed all the time." Now that I think about it, maybe reading a lot can really calm my mind.
