Yuan Tiangang, the Greatest Feng Shui Master

Synopsis of The Greatest Feng Shui Master Yuan Tiangang Yuan Tiangang, a boy from a poor alley in Yizhou, uses his mystical arts of “reading life and death through bone” and “determining the world through qi” to leave every skeptic speechless! When the gentry laugh that “a poor kid knows nothing about physiognomy,” he tells one man, “Your sunken nose bridge means you'll lose your post within three years.” It comes true. When a charlatan uses talisman water to swindle people, Yuan treats an illness with acupressure on the spot, exposing the scam and earning the cheers of a thousand onlookers! Upon arriving in Chang'an, Emperor Taizong of Tang asks skeptically, “Are you better than the ancient master Junping?” Yuan predicts that Cen Wenben will “lose years of life if he reaches the third rank.” The man rises to become Secretariat Director, then suddenly dies. Yuan reads Ma Zhou's face as showing “great fortune but a short life”; the chancellor dies unexpectedly at forty-eight, leaving the entire court in awe! Alongside Li Chunfeng, Yuan uses a golden needle threaded through a copper coin to select the site for Qianling Mausoleum. Their two chosen acupoints overlap, and the imperial tomb remains untouched for a thousand years, showcasing the pinnacle of feng shui! But even a divine physiognomist faces a dead end. When Yuan writes that “the Li-Tang dynasty will prosper” in The Tui Bei Diagram, his compass shatters that very night. His prophecy that “the Wu clan will replace the Tang” costs him years of life in a backlash! Worse, he discovers that the Wu family, seeking to suppress the prophecy that “a woman will rule the land,” has secretly sent people to kill him! When the leaked manuscript of The Tui Bei Diagram sparks a bloody massacre at court, Yuan Tiangang finally understands: physiognomy can determine a person's fate, but it cannot foresee the greed in their hearts! Armed with the secrets of geomancy, he faces the Wu clan's relentless seizure of power. Will he defy heaven and preserve the Li-Tang dynasty, or submit to fate? And what ultimate secret, enough to drive emperors mad, lies in the final unfinished hexagram of The Tui Bei Diagram?
