Feng Shui Master Liao Jinjing

Failed the imperial exams? He turns around and becomes a living feng shui immortal! In the chaotic Five Dynasties era, Liao Yu is a gifted scholar well versed in the Five Classics. But war cuts short his prospects of entering officialdom, and his neighbors mock him as a “bookworm.” Then the half-volume of The Incomplete Green Satchel Scroll left by his dying grandfather lets him glimpse the secrets of Heaven and Earth!

When a wealthy family’s grave relocation brings disaster, he spots the “White Tiger Through the Hall” configuration at a glance and turns the family’s fortunes around in three days, face-slapping a self-proclaimed master who is nothing but a swindler. At Leping, he selects a burial site and makes a prophecy about a “purple robe and ivory tablet” that comes true years later, shaking the court. At Sanliao Village, he lays out a Taiji yin-yang formation and gives rise to the legend of “China’s foremost feng shui village.”

With his compass, he determines dragon veins; with his bamboo staff, he reads the surrounding terrain and waters. He develops the “Nine Stars Qi Theory” to break evil formations and writes Revealing Heaven’s Secrets, a work that will be remembered for ages. From a country boy to a trusted guest of emperors, Liao Yu face-slaps false masters and solves deadly geomantic traps at every turn. Yet he has no idea that his grandfather’s death conceals a plot, or that the half of the heavenly book left by Master Yang hides a shocking secret.

The Dragon-Severing Society covets his secrets and seeks to throw the world into chaos. Northern and southern schools fight to the death over which one is orthodox. With his mastery of geomancy, Liao Yu must defy fate to change his own destiny and protect the fortune of his homeland! See how the “Hermit of Golden Essence” uses feng shui to determine the fate of the world and become a renowned grandmaster for the ages!
