Feng Shui Master Guan Lu

Amid the chaos of the Three Kingdoms, a geomancy master who was “ugly in appearance yet versed in the ways of Heaven and Earth” emerged! Guan Lu was born with a “mystic eye” that could read the flow of qi and discern spirits. At eight, he read the stars to predict wind and rain; at twelve, he became a disciple and mastered the Book of Changes. With his skills in “reading the stars to choose a home and divining to dispel misfortune,” he rose from a boy in Pingyuan to become revered by later generations as the “Patriarch of Feng Shui.” He helped his neighbors expose an evil geomantic setup used by a local tyrant to seize their land, solved the strange incidents plaguing a governor’s residence, traced the source of a “sickness curse” during an epidemic, and unmasked the culprit behind a curse using effigies amid palace intrigue in Luoyang. When the powerful asked him to change their fortunes, he warned them bluntly, “Defying the tide will bring a backlash.” But when common people were in trouble, he was willing to exhaust himself arranging protective formations, even at the risk of suffering Heaven’s retribution. Watch him travel across the Central Plains, using feng shui to take down fraudulent practitioners and drive off sinister masters from enemy states. Watch him establish himself at the Cao Wei court and survive the disasters of Cao Shuang and the Gaoping Tomb Incident through his wisdom of “going with the flow.” And watch him debate the Dao with Guo Pu from afar and write The Spirit-Comprehending Secrets of the Book of Changes, leaving behind an enduring principle: “Magic arts should serve the people, not be used to fight for power.” This is no mindless power fantasy, but the tale of a master in a Three Kingdoms guide to feng shui. It features thrilling divinations, such as “predicting a person’s lifespan beside a coffin,” as well as great deeds for the people, like “building dikes and redirecting water to bring peace to the Huai River.” It also delves into the deeper struggle between “Heaven’s secrets and the human heart.” See how Guan Lu uses his mystic eye to forge a path uniquely his own as a feng shui master amid the chaos!
