After Giving Up on Affection Points, I Started Editing Videos for Kangxi

(Today's update will be at 5 p.m., September 7.) After transmigrating as Kangxi's twelfth son and getting bound to a favorability-raising System, he set out to grind up his favorability with Kangxi, his brothers, and all his relatives, but got nowhere. For some reason, the favorability he'd been working on since birth was always negative. With no other choice, Yintu started a miserable life working off his debt to the System. The System provided the source material, while he wrote the commentary and edited the videos. On his first day working off his debt, the video he had to edit showed Kangxi giving his sons a surprise test on their studies. Since Yintu had been there in person, writing the narration came as naturally as water flowing. After typing away on a virtual keyboard, he uploaded that day's edited video, A Day in the Life of the Big Dungs and Little Dungs 1, to the System's storage space. The System rewarded him with a piece of candy for his hard work. Yintu, who had spent an hour busily tapping away with his little hands, was encouraged: If he'd known he could get treats, he'd have worked for the System sooner. As Yintu drifted off to sleep with a strawberry-flavored candy in his mouth, Kangxi and the others whose favorability he had been trying to raise watched a video. The scene of them taking a test in the Imperial Study during the day appeared before their eyes, as though a divine eye had recorded everything the father and sons did. At that moment, Kangxi was testing his sons on their studies in the Imperial Study. Outside the silent footage, a leisurely voice spoke at an unhurried pace. [That old geezer Kang, the stubborn old geezer, strutted into the Imperial Study like he owned the place and yelled at the little dungs who were slacking off, “Quit fooling around, pop quiz!”] Kangxi shot upright: Was this an auspicious sign or a demon? By the end, he realized that this thing had probably been made by one of his sons. As Kangxi tried to figure out who was behind it, the other princes all lost it. The eldest prince howled, “Why am I called Wretched Fate Zhi?” In the corner, Yintu munched on homemade chicken feet: Yeah, because you always say, “It's not like I've got anything but this wretched life.” The Crown Prince's mouth twitched. “Why am I Swole Rang?” Yintu: Because you're always going solo, Second Brother. The usually refined Third Prince bellowed, “I'm called Secretly Pleased Ge? What am I secretly pleased about? Ugh!” Yintu: You're always looking upward with your eyes. What else could it be but secret gloating? The Fourth Prince's expressionless gaze was cold. “I'm Bitter Gourd Juice? Unbelievable.” Yintu: You're unbelievable, all right. Nobody even knows you, so you're the real Bitter Gourd Juice. At least I have Ama Su, who loves me dearly. The Fifth, Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Princes were all arguing in the Imperial Study. No one had suspected a thing until they saw gloomy little Twelfth, who always stayed in the corner, quietly slipping out. Everyone: It's him, right? It has to be him. After a series of tests, they discovered that the mastermind was indeed the Twelfth Prince. Everyone: The Twelfth Prince is so devious. Unforgivable. Yintu adjusted his secret identity and kept working hard to complete his main quest and raise everyone's favorability. But despite his best efforts to grind up everyone's favorability, Yintu never expected it to keep dropping instead. It didn't matter, though. He actually liked working off his debt. While editing a video one day, Yintu typed out this narration: [Wretched Fate Zhi snorted. “You want me to say it, Old Geezer Kang? Then I won't. You couldn't get me to talk even if you made me drink ten bowls of douzhi.” Old Geezer Kang thought, “Ten bowls of douzhi? Not a chance.”] Old Geezer Kang, who hadn't said any of that, and Wretched Fate Zhi, or rather Kangxi and Yinzhi, both lost it: ... Theme: Analyze each problem based on its specific circumstances.
