Yongzheng: I, Your Emperor, Am Kind to All

(Slice of life) (A funny historical story: Shock! Liu Bang discovers that the auspicious beast is his son. This is a fun story for inspiration and a change of pace. Give it a try!) On the night of the thirteenth day of the eleventh month in the sixty-first year of Kangxi's reign, when Yin Zhen was urgently summoned by the troops at Changchun Garden and left the courtyard, his adviser, Mr. Dai, said, “Fourth Master, it's going to snow tonight. Be very careful.” In the brightly lit Qingxi Study, his dying imperial father placed a chubby, fair-skinned three-year-old in his hands. “This is the child you left behind when you went away in the fifty-seventh year. I have named him Hongzhao. With him here, this foul land will surely be illuminated.” Yin Zhen never imagined that the snowstorm tonight would be so fierce. When he went away on official business in the fifty-seventh year, he did indeed meet a woman who made him happy. But when had he had a son this old? The boy stepped forward, opened his big eyes, and called, “Daddy.” Yin Zhen: “What did you call me?” He hadn't even had time to mourn his imperial father’s death before shock came tumbling in, one thing after another. Later, Hongzhao was so happy living with his father that he never wanted to leave. He realized that everyone around him was so kind. He wanted to repay everyone for their kindness. Longkodo stole the imperial family register to keep people from questioning Hongzhao's identity. Worried that Longkodo would be punished, Hongzhao stole it back. As a result, Longkodo was stripped of his position and sent home. Uncle Eighth wanted to prove that his father couldn't raise a son, so he deliberately whispered to Third Brother. Hongzhao made their private conversation public, and from then on, Uncle Eighth and Third Brother became a loving father and son. Uncle Thirteenth was afraid of needles because of his sore knees, so Hongzhao made a syringe as a substitute for acupuncture and gave him a shot every day. There was also the eldest uncle who had gone crazy from being cooped up at home, and the second uncle who worried every day that his son would cause trouble. Hongzhao learned about their troubles and went to help them solve them. In the end, everyone went to Yin Zhen and begged him to put them out of their misery. Yongzheng, Yin Zhen: “My son is thinking of you all so much. How can you fail to appreciate the good intentions of a little child?” The Eighth, Ninth, Tenth, and Fourteenth Princes: We never thought we'd lose to Fourth Brother so completely in this way. Theme: Strive tirelessly for self-improvement and cultivate virtue and generosity.
