I, Qin Ershi, Am Broadcast Rebelling on the Sky Screen

Ying Yunman transmigrates as the daughter of Qin Shi Huang. She won’t try to convince Ying Zheng that the elixirs are poisonous, or warn Fusu not to believe Hu Hai’s forged imperial edict. If she wants to rewrite history completely, the only way is to become emperor herself! Rising against the First Emperor would make it difficult to use her advantage as someone from the future. Rising against Hu Hai, on the other hand, means competing with the Chu and Han kingdoms. Even with her imperfect knowledge of history, she has enough to get a head start. Han Xin of Huaiyin? One strong man could capture him. Liu Bang and Xiang Yu? She could plant spies among them before they even raised their banners. Use a network of merchants to gather intelligence from every region, and build a private army in secret, waiting for the whole empire to rise against Qin. And yet What is this enormous sky screen? Is it showing a future where she succeeds in her rebellion and changes history? A heavenly phenomenon appears, and the words of people from the future are somehow visible to those living now. The people of Qin get a glimpse of a sage emperor: [There will never be another ruler like you.] [If life is treating you badly, rebel. Don’t come crying at the grave.] They also see future generations joking around: [The ultimate substitute romance: Zheng-ge couldn’t have Han Fei, but Qin II got his wish.] [Don’t believe the nonsense in Records of Splendor. Don’t ship bizarre pairings like Qin-Han, Qin-Ying, Qin-Lu, or Qin-Zhang. Set the record straight: the canon pairing is the one true way!] [Other people get one day off every five days. He gets five days off all year.] [You have to be a special kind of lunatic to reverse-engineer Mohism like that.] [No wonder he’s a sage emperor! You need an unconventional mind to think like that.] A parallel universe, not a historical novel. Sky screen premise: everyone can “understand” the writing on the sky screen. Coming soon: Refulgent Light Over Qin. Rebel against Hu Hai: she’ll be the Second Qin Emperor. The next book will be out soon. Check my author page for the synopsis and more details. Content warnings (warnings with major spoilers are in the author’s note for Chapter One; read as needed): Unfriendly toward Fusu and Confucianism. Favors Ying Zheng, but will mention both his merits and his faults. Favors Xiang Yu and will protect him. The heroine eradicates the idea that men should be superior to women. Qin III is a man, Qin IV is a woman, and inheritance rights are equal. If you’re uncomfortable with conflict, or hold extreme sexist views, please don’t read. Theme: Stars fill the sky and light the way ahead
