I'll announce it if I need to take a day off!] Although Daphne Green became an animal wizard quite unexpectedly, her life didn't change all that much. As a phoenix who had lived for so many years, Daphne stuck to her goals: eat and drink well, and see whether her own life or the world would come to an end first. But after becoming an animal wizard, a few other lives gradually joined her long, lonely existence. A black cat with mysterious comings and goings, a lively little bird that loved to fight, an invulnerable golden retriever that could fly, a raccoon with unusual markings on its face that loved rummaging through trash, and so on. No matter how strange they were, Daphne's latest worry was that she kept accumulating more and more kinds of little animals. Money wasn't a problem. Her savings from all these years couldn't possibly be eaten up by a few little animals. The stocks she'd invested in at certain companies years ago, what were they called, LexCorp, Oscorp, Wayne Enterprises, or something like that?, still paid steady dividends. But it was getting harder and harder to make meals for all her pets. Sigh. So taking care of pets is this exhausting, huh? . Bruce thought he was going to die. He was badly injured, and his vision was growing blurrier by the second. When he opened his eyes again, he saw an unfamiliar woman. “A kitty?” she said, picking him up to examine his injuries. The strange woman's tears fell on him, and his wounds miraculously healed. In the days that followed, it wasn't just him. He saw Clark turn into a golden retriever, Damian turn into a little bird that was still spoiling for a fight, and Jason get dragged off for a hands-on bath by Daphne every day because he kept rummaging through trash cans. Could this human please stop wandering around every day with a mug bearing the LexCorp logo? Clark was already starting to suspect it was all one of Luthor's schemes, and that there might be kryptonite inside. Then Bruce transformed into a human in front of her, trying to explain everything. Daphne smacked him on the head with the summoning wand she used as a clothesline. “Hey, turn back.” 1. Pairing with Batman. The heroine is a phoenix in her true form.
