[Western Crossover] Watchdog

"Human, are you ready to meet your end?"

"...What are you?"

Herschel turned her heads in confusion to look at her other two selves, then proudly puffed out her chest. "I am Cerberus, the three-headed hound of hell, demon of darkness, watchdog of Hades, Lord of the Underworld... and his daughter! Herschel!"

After proudly announcing her titles, Herschel noticed the human in front of her looking disappointed.

"Hey!"

As Damian stood on the brink of death, he saw the legendary hellhound.

Only to discover she was merely a descendant. Damian was disappointed.

The descendant said she had come to take the place of the busy God of Death and guide his soul to hell, though she didn't seem to have the purest intentions.

After a moment's silence, Damian tempted the rabid dog to his side with promises of a feast of flesh and the pleasures of the mortal world. The hellhound's sharp fangs pressed against the human's heart as she grinned, eager to devour him whole.

That was nothing. He had never feared death, nor believed there was anything he couldn't conquer. He was conquest itself.

Until her fangs pierced his heart, and he put a collar bearing his name around her neck, making her his very own watchdog.

1. The pairing is Damian and Herschel. The heroine is a powerful descendant of Cerberus, with some abilities of my own invention. She can freely switch between her original form and human form. She's a rabid dog. The story starts with Damian in the League of Assassins, before he goes to Gotham. Since they're both aggressive types, they're the kind of couple who bite each other until their mouths are bloody when they kiss.

2. A Marvel and DC crossover, with a little of the game Hades.
