Next up: Now It’s Time for a Commercial Break and Being Wanted by the Entire Universe Is So Freaking Awesome
What does an ordinary day in Beika look like?
Killers, suspects, and...
No. In this world, Beika has no detectives, no Holmes of the Reiwa era.
Shinichi: What? What do you mean, there are no detectives?
KP: In short, because of what happened before, you no longer exist in Beika Town, or even in this world.
Shinichi: Then what do we do to truly get back to this world?
KP: First, draw a card, you absolute menace.
One holiday, Shinichi, top of his police academy class, comes home. When he opens the door and looks down at Gin, whose face is full of murderous intent, he bends over apologetically.
“Little Gin, is your elementary school having a parent-teacher meeting? Want me to go for you?”
“I just went. Little Gin beat up five kids today, made an indescribable thing in arts and crafts, and failed music.”
The expressionless FBI agent cleans his gun, his blond hair gleaming brilliantly. “Also, the Brit is making dinner tonight. The menu is American deli food mixed with Mexican mush.”
“I’m working really hard, Amuro.”
Shuichi, a Poirot Cafe employee, carries out coffee from the kitchen and asks the city girl sprawled on the sofa, “Boss Sherry, are you doing okay today?”
“Understood, Boss. I’ll take care of it right away.” Shiho hangs up without changing her expression and looks over at the elementary schooler writing out the fifty Japanese syllables while radiating murderous intent.
“Gin, how about we switch? You be the boss, and I’ll be the elementary schooler.”
Gin: ...
Let’s just destroy this world already.
【Sanchek Warning】
The second installment of the Beika Menace Crew. It fully carries on the first story’s style, though the blurb and plot may not happen as written because the dice have the final say.
You don’t need to have read the first story to enjoy this fun roleplaying session (maybe). In brief:
A group of max-level menaces and a certain veteran investigator replay the Beika scenario again and again, constantly switching identities, taking turns as elementary schoolers, and saving Beika Town (not really).
「Main Ingredients」
A crew of menaces made up of 0.1 scientists, 3 detectives, and 1 Mr. Gin. Half comedy routine, half roleplaying session, with an ensemble cast and a regular group of familiar players. Congratulations to a certain special guest, who has become a permanent cast member.
1. My own nonstandard style of roleplaying, with lots of original rules, using the Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition rules plus a ton of house rules. You can think of it as an infinite-world System story. You don’t need to know Call of Cthulhu roleplaying, either. In these sessions, the dice decide everything, including intelligence and the superhuman skills characters come with.
2. No romance in this story, only the friendship forged by weathering hardships together while fighting the mysterious force that torments the KP.
2.5. This is a 【multi-perspective ensemble cast】 story. The five people in the protagonist section share the lead role and split the plot evenly. Character cards are listed in order of appearance in the first installment, not by ranking.
Each scenario may give different characters more or less focus depending on the dice and other factors. There is no single, absolute protagonist or center of attention.
3. The group is a comedy troupe, with banter, parodies, and everyday bickering. OOC moments may occur for reasons including, but not limited to, San Checks, KP descriptions, moving the plot forward, and Saint Bourbon spreading rumors.
4. 99% of the dice rolls are done manually. Any fudged rolls will be clearly marked. The GM’s hidden hand and the dice gods coexist.
「Dosage」

「Possible Side Effects」
Based on comments after the first story ended and feedback in the comments, this story may also include OOC behavior, stereotypes, too many ridiculous antics and too little logic or common sense, limited screentime for some characters in the protagonist section, “putting down” the protagonists to elevate a former mysterious guest, and not being sufficiently orthodox Call of Cthulhu.
This list of warnings may grow. Before opening the story, please consider as carefully as possible whether these might hit a sore spot, so you can avoid an unpleasant experience.
