My Brother Has Turned into a Ghost Yet Again!

[Thanks to the sweethearts who subscribed to the official version! Kisses, kisses, kisses, kisses, kisses, kisses, kisses, kisses, kisses, kisses, kisses, kisses] My next story will be called A Nen Ability Is a Farming System. If you like the sound of it, please add it to your favorites~ As the first player to register, you had empty pockets and no possessions. Then, unexpectedly, the new game gave you a rare starter gift pack: You didn’t sense any danger at all. Delighted, you used the [Heian-Kyo Noble Lady Experience Card ×1] and jumped into the game. **** **** Your family was a renowned noble house, and you lived a life of luxury. The only catch was that your frail elder brother was sickly, and the doctor had declared he wouldn’t live to see twenty. Since you were family, you naturally gave him your whole heart, thinking that simply making it through the game normally wouldn’t be so bad. If only he hadn’t wanted to eat you. Beneath the moonlight, the elegantly dressed boy, now a demon, opened door after door, his red eyes unsettling. “Yueji.” “Yueji…” “Where are you hiding?” **** **** You wiped your face. Looking at the game’s carnage, you still hadn’t realized how serious things were. You pulled out the second experience card and jumped in again. This time, you arrived in the Warring States period. You had two brothers who looked exactly alike, so, drawing on your previous game experience, you observed them closely for a full two years. Only after they joined the Demon Slayer Corps and took a stand against demons did you finally relax. That meant they wouldn’t eat you, right? A few days later, your eldest brother abandoned the entire family and ran off. When you met again, your eldest brother looked like a demon. “I’m done being human, Miyuki!” You: !!! If you’re done being human, I still want to be one! **** **** You looked at your last experience card, torn for ages between uninstalling the game and giving it one more try. In the end, you couldn’t resist the free experience card’s high value, and jumped in once more. This time You stared pensively at your distinctive white-haired brother. He was being worshipped by crowds and revered by everyone as a god. He even shed tears for his believers. If he was a god, surely he wouldn’t turn into a… demon too, right? You should be able to clear the game, right? Then one day, you saw the first brother from your saved game jam his hand into the third brother’s head, and with a sudden motion, turned him into a demon too. …You were so done. This time, you’d learned your lesson. When all three brothers, each with a completely different personality, turned to look at you, you frantically clicked the exit button. Except The exit button had turned gray. It seemed… maybe… possibly… you couldn’t get out anymore :) [Told in third person] Reader’s Guide: 1. A brother-stops-being-human story. 2. You know what to expect with the OOC. 3. Lots of headcanon. If you feel uncomfortable, please quit right away, sweethearts (sorry). 4. Wishing everyone health and happiness, with plenty of good food. Blurb for A Nen Ability Is a Farming System: Ten years after transmigrating, a rock hit me and jolted my memories of my past life awake. The bad news: I’d transmigrated to Meteor City, and even got a brother named Chrollo thrown in. The good news: My brother is sunny and cheerful, and even cries little pearls. He’s probably just someone with the same name. Fortunately, after coming here, I got a farming System. By raising chickens and growing crops, I not only fattened up the Phantom Troupe, I also set up a delivery service and made a fortune. Some customers were just especially difficult: One customer named Gitarakuru insisted on trading his discount card for delicious food. I coldly refused him. Another customer called Little Apple wouldn’t stop pestering me to buy all the bubble gum I had, and even called me Little Apple. I coldly blocked him. They even messaged me saying they were coming to find me. When my brother found out, he packed me up and got me out of Meteor City that very night. He said he’d take care of me from then on. I looked over the troupe members, who came in all different heights, and felt that my brother had a long, hard road ahead of him as the family breadwinner. Just as I was preparing to get back into my old line of work I unexpectedly spotted my brother’s wanted poster online. Huh? No, wait! I thought you said you were a traveling troupe. How’d you become thieves? Theme: We are born free. May courage endure.
